I have been looking for a quick fix alternative to waxing as getting to the salon is proving to be quite difficult at the moment. Saw this on offer in my local ASDA so thought I would give it a shot. Easy to apply and and fairly hassle free, does not stink to high heaven like others that I have tried. The applicator does the job and after I left it for the time required it came straight off leaving a fairly decent result. I think that these products are all well and good and offer a quick fix but it still doesn't offer the overall results of waxing and wont last as long so will be doing it more frequently. Think I will just have to make time for the salon!

I really liked the packaging of the veet rasera product and also the razor like applicator used to remove the cream. I did notice that it removed some hair from my legs, but it did not work as well as I thought. I still had bits of hair everywhere. I would not recommend this product to a friend.

I tried this as I'm going to the Caribbean and it worked pretty good!
Cannot use on sensitive areas like underarms. But it does work even on thick stubborn hair

Overall, I think Veet Rasera is a really good product, cos it does the job, it removes the hair without needing to use any kind of blade!
Although I think if more natural ingredients were used it would make it better to use, the smell especially could improve!
I use Veet Rasera on my arms and legs, it lasts much longer, than shaving or waxing or threading..its pretty good!
But one tip, I would not advise this for anyone with sensitive skin.

I never wanted to shave again so I started off buying a hair removal cream. Every time I shaved I had acne problems, so I got Veet and WOW! it works it removed all the hair with no problem, amazing really. But the problem is that it left chemical burns, and isn't as effective as shaving, but I don't wanna shave and have acne scars, irritating razor burns, etc.

I left this cream on for 3 and a half minutes. I used the bladeless razor spatula to remove the hair. Hardly anything came off so i had my shower and washed thoroughly. I got out to find i had burnt patches of skin under my arm.
It really is unsafe to use and doesnt remove hair so dont buy this =(

I just bought Veet for the first time, and I used it while at work in my office. It smells like Neer, and it burns after. I feel like I have razor burn, and probably wouldn't use Veet Rasera again. I feel as if I wasted 10 bucks and could have bought 4 Mack razor blades and my Aveeno shaving cream for the same 10 bucks, and I would have been happier!! GOOD LUCK!

I used Veet Rasera hair removal for a little while without too much difficulty. But, one day I went over the 8-minute time limit by accident, and after a few hours I had painful, itching chemical burns all over my legs! Now I can never use a depilatory there ever again because I get burned regardless of how long it stays on my skin. And besides, the whole process is pretty messy. I would just recommend a razor, as this product isn't really worth it.

I have my college ball tomorrow night, and being a student means I don't have a lot of money, but I thought that Veet Rasera would be really worth it, so I tried it this morning!
after the 3 minutes there was no difference, so I left it on for as long as they recommended. When I took it off some of the hairs came away really well, but most of it is still there, although the remaining hairs are weak and you could pull them out, it's not the point. If I had time to do that I'd shave in the first place.
I also tried it on my underarm and it was a bit difficult sitting there with my arm positioned for at least 3 minutes while it worked (at least I had time to pull out the remaining hairs on my legs), even though it did work a little better on my underarm, it still looked stubbly, just like I have shaved.
Overall, I think it was a complete waste of time and money, and I would rather risk cutting myself and making sure it was done properly than use that again, and from what I've heard, most people would agree.

I used Veet Rasera for the first time recently and it worked quite well. It took quite a long time to work - more than the adverised 3 minutes anyway- and was quite messy. I wasn't quite sure how to use it is the cream supposed to be able to wash away when you scrape it off??? In the end I used it over my bathroom bin because it definitely didn't look water soluble! Overall the product worked pretty well but I'm sure there must be a better alternative somewhere.

On June 6th, I used a very popular product called Veet Rasera. Their website touts: "Veet's new Bladeless Razor Kit, Rasera, is a revolutionary new way to shave! The gel cream works in just 3 minutes and then you can quickly and easily remove hair with the Bladeless Razor tool. It has been specially designed without a blade so that you don't have to worry about dry skin or cuts. You can work quickly even on tricky parts such as the knees with perfect control - for close hair removal.
Your skin feels soft and silky smooth for up to twice as long as shaving."
What it doesn't tell you is that it can cause chemical burns and dissolve your fingernails. This is what
happened to me.
I went to the doctor and he told me that these depilatories use chemicals
containing enzymes that breakdown the keratin in the hair and unfortunately that is what our fingernails are made of as well. The product took off many layers of my fingernails and caused chemical burns on my legs and arms.
I followed all the instructions to the letter, AND used a timer. There is no warning on the label ANYWHERE that states: "Will possibly dissolve
fingernails as well"
I contacted the company and they said, " We will have someone look into it
and get back to you. " and I have not heard anything as of yet. When asked
what they would do for me, all they offered was a refund for the purchase
price of the product.
I am not looking to get rich, sue, or defame the company; I just want what I feel is fair and also to WARN others of the dangers that are swept under the rug. I think that a warning should be put on the product itself.

Veet Rasera is easier to apply than the earlier versions and only takes 3 mins to work! Definitely worth it especially since the bottle is enough to your legs and underarms twice.

It does say on the bottle to make sure to test on one patch of skin first, and advises you to wash your hands immediately after applying the cream.
