i found this page. Nearly bought a corner sofa. Thank you all

ordered some Chairs and they deliverd completely different chairs. tried to contact them but there is no phone number so after emailing and waiting they offered me to keep the chairs and they would credit me $50 on somehting else i buy. then after an offer of a full refund the chairs were returned and the communications stopped no contact or no refund. in effect they have stolen money from me and they will be reported to police and visa.

I feel bad for the guy when I read all of these reviews. We bought a dining table, replica Eames chairs, and some bar stools. They were way cheaper than anywhere else, we had them delivered within 48 hours, and the guy was super friendly. When I assembled everything, my expectation were far exceeded in terms of quality. We spent $1050 where exactly the same items at Matt Blatt were $1,480. I really couldn't fault anything.

I see that someone claims that there are new owners, and judging from my experience this may well be the case.

After receiving a glass table, we had to assemble the glass top with the legs. Suddenly, while screwing the legs on to the glass top, the glass splintered into a million pieces. Obviously, something was wrong with the glass part - otherwise, there would just have been a crack in the glass.

When contacting bestchoices.com.au via email (note, there is no contact telephone number), we received an email stating that the table was fine when they sent it to us, urging us to order a new one. After letting bestchoices know that I was disappointed with their reply, they offered a 20$ discount if I bought the same table again. What an insult after just spending 260$ on a defect table. I will never buy furniture through this company again!

I was interested in buying a table and chairs but became suspicious that they don't have a showroom, or a phone number. They say you get free delivery if you live within 20km of their warehouse or you can pick up yourself (which I'd prefer) but it doesn't give an address...an online query form is the only means of communication. So googled for reviews and found these, suspicions confirmed.

i am so glad ive just read all the reviews about this company, i was just about to order a bed because of the price and delivery service promised.

PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.

THE MATTRESS TOPPER I BOUGHT IS TOTALLY SUB-STANDARD. IT DOES NOT STAY ON THE BED AND IS SO THIN AND SUCH POOR QUALITY.

THE COMPANY WILL NOT ANSWER THE PHONE OR EMAIL. THEY ARE COMPLETE COWBOYS. WHY CAN'T TRADING STANDARDS DO SOMETHING? I HAVE CONTACTED THEM BUT THEY SAY THEY NEED MORE PEOPLE TO COMPLAIN. PLEASE EVERYONE - COMPLAIN LOUDLY. SEEMS SO UNFAIR THAT THIS DREADFUL COMPANY ARE GETTING AWAY WITH STEALING OUR MONEY WHEN DECENT COMPANIES ARE GOING OUT OF BUSINESS.

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE IF YOU WANT GOOD SERVICE OR EVEN WANT YOUR GOODS DELIVERED AT ALL.

Ordered a leather bed online on 1 January. Bed did not arrive. Discovered it was out of stock - even though this was not displayed on the website. Advised bed would be available at the end of February.

Not acceptable as far as I am concerned. Cancelled my order a week ago....still waiting for refund.

Wish I'd seen all the bad reviews too! We got our beds but the frame on the double has buckled and twisted after only a couple of weeks of use. It's now propped up by timber to stop it collapsing completely. We got through to complain and were told to send photos, which we did. We then eventually got through to someone about a month after and were told we needed a new bed. Since then, nothing. Only recourse is to proceed through small claims court. Do not use.
