Good Service - No Problems.

I ordered a Morphy Richards kettle with this company,through Amazon,and then read these reviews and wondered if I'd made a big mistake!

My order was placed on 6/5/12 and I received the kettle on 15/5/12. I received 2 emails acknowledging my order and telling me when it had been dispatched.

I'm really pleased with the kettle - the price was very good (less than half R.R.P).

The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it took 9 days to arrive and I usually find goods ordered through Amazon are delivered more quickly than this.

Chasing Them All The Time

ordered a cd/cassette player as a xmas present. After 2 weeks the product developed a fault.Popcorn.uk told me it wasnt their responsability it was philips, philips said it was amazon , amazon said it was down to popcorn to sort it. After several emails back and forth popcorn told me to post it back to them which cost £10.00 recorded delivery, then the waiting game began. Heard nothing though they had stated they would be in touch 7/10 days time, so i contacted them to see what was going on they said they would be in touch. Still nothing so i emailed again got an apologetic email saying someone from customer services would get back to me by friday. Friday came and went on the sunday i emailed them again another apologetic email saying saying they would look into it straight away and get back to me again no one did.In the meantime i had been in touch with amazon about it all as i bought through amazon they put in a claim against them on my behalf, FINALLY have had the money refunded but not the postage of £10 which states on their policies if product faulty postage will be refunded so the fight goes on KEEP away from this site if you value your sanity, time, money the list goes on.

Don't Bother With This Company

I bought a slow cooker from Popcorn and waited weeks for delivery. It eventually arrived damaged and unusable. Their returns policy state they will refund the cost of returning the item if you send it back recorded delivery. I did this and it cost me £9.72. Popcorn eventually refunded the cost of the item but did not refund the cost of the postage so I'm now nearly £10 out of pocket. I would NOT recommend this company. Their customer service is lousy

waiting for a childs Xmas pressie. They keep changing the delivery date on my amazon order page. Wont answer messages. What a shower. Wish I had read reviews before trying to buy from them. Never again!!

Failed To Deliver When They Said They Would - Thus

Failed to deliver when they said they would - thus costing me a lot of time and money as a result of not being at work while awaiting delivery.

On complaining to Popcorn-UK, I was offered neither explanation nor apology for the late delivery.

When the items arrived they were found to be faulty. I emailed Popcorn-uk several days ago to enquire about their return and a refund of my money. They have yet to reply.

I see from this site and others on the web that I am not the only person to have had problems with Popcorn-UK. I wish I had taken the trouble to read these sites before I placed my order.

I Ordered A Couple Of Teasmades From This Company

I ordered a couple of Teasmades from this company via Amazon before Christmas. They remained in their boxes for a couple of months (my fault entirely as I have since moved house etc.), then I decided to unpack and start using them. My boyfriend and I were arguing about the best way to use them, so I googled them (to prove him wrong!) and subsequently discovered that the model and batch number of the equipment that I purchased had been recalled in 2002 due to serious fire hazards!!

The website's customer service team have since stopped responding to my emails re: this matter.

NOT RECOMMENDED.

Ordered A Phillips Dab Radio Only To Be Told By Ph

Ordered a Phillips Dab radio only to be told by phone a day later that they had none in stock however that didn't stop Popcorn-uk from taking the money from my account. Customer services then asked whether I wanted a refund or a replacement radio. I decided to give them another chance and ordered a more expensive model which wasn't on their web site but they said they could get it for me, I paid the difference and awaited its arrival. 2 days later it arrived. The box looked a tad shabby so I gave the radio a good inspection only to find the top control panel had been damaged. As this could not have occurred during transit I concluded that this was a used item. To Popcorn's credit the lady in their customer service dept was not impressed and got onto her supplier. She then phoned me back and stating that she would personally inspect the replacement radio before it was dispatched and that they would send a courier to deliver the new radio and collect the old one. I've now got an awesome DAB radio but could have got the same one for the same price from Amazon for alot less hassle. That said once Popcorn new of my complaint they acted promtly and were nothing but proffessional. Unfortunately they were let down by a supplier, all credit to them for sorting out the issue and I wouldn't hesistate in using them again.

The Goods Were Fine, Delivery Was When They Said I

The goods were fine, delivery was when they said it would be. However, Popcorn took 2 identical payments from my credit card - so charging me twice for one order - on 2 separate dates. How secure is their website? I would not trust them with my credit card details.

Item shown in stock delivery 1 - 3 working days.E-mailed Popcorn UK 3 days later and was told they were 'waiting for a delivery'.11 days later I have just been told they cannot get the item.I will go somewhere more reputable next time.
