for the price you pay (never usually more than £30), the sound is fantastic! i guess they're fairly comfortable but i wear studs and sometimes the back of the earring gets pressed into my neck which isn't always nice however comfortable otherwise! i've had the hd202's and the eh150's and would definatley recommend them in fact i did! - a friend of mine started making music recently and on a bit of a budget bought these after i showed him my 202's, he loves his pair too! - so i guess 2 positive reviews for the price of one!

A great set of headphones! Sennheiser are a bit trebley, but they really good. Really nice and confortable, and you can adjust them easily as well. I use thesefor recording drums with bands, and they do the job really well - having a long cord helps as well as it means that the bulky bit of the headphone extension cord doesn't get in the way while they're drumming.
As I said, they're a bit too balanced towards the treble part - not really a huge amount of bass, and they hardly colour the sound at all.
They're also great for gaming, I've found as it really enhances the panning more than I've ever really got with in-ear headphones so you can always tell where people are!. Sennheiser are generally great for those balanced headphones.
For the cost these are possibly the best over-ear headphones I've used in a very long time. Good for personal use and for amateur monitoring for recording (if you're using them to monitor in a live room - not good if you want studio-quality sound). I've heard better, I've heard worse!

Extremely good sound from Sennheiser HD 202, for the price it's a steal. You can compare it to 100+ ones

Great value for a good quality pair of headphones. One of the best low-end headphones set around. Usual complaints about lower price point headphones in terms of sound quality, but very bearable for the price.

I'm a Sennheiser fan, so I wasn't surprised when I heard about the Sennheiser HD 202 headphones in various reviews, but then I saw the price and I was surprised!
I bought these because I was looking for headband phones for my MP3 player that are comfortable, small enough so you don't look like Princess Leah, closed so they don't let sound in or leak sound and annoy fellow commuters, and deliver good quality sound.
I was finding that earphones of any type begin to irritate my ears after a while, and some I have had need to be jammed in to get the clarity of sound I like.
These fit the bill in all departments, and they just seem to feel, sound and perform better because they are such good value for money. You just plonk them on and you're in a quiet place with very good sound in your head.
I don't have particularly huge ears, which if you have, I can see a big problem with these. So be warned, if you've ever been referred to as 'wing nuts' don't buy these, otherwise do.
I can also see these as ideal for kids and teenagers.

The Sennheiser HD202 headphones offer good sound and excellent value for money. You start to notice them after a couple of hours though, so I wouldn't suggest them for any seriously long listening. But for an hour or so they are excellent!

So would you say these are good for drumming? I was going to get some Vic Firth's for drumming, and these for just normal mp3 listening (taking to school and whatnot), but would these suffice for both?
