StoryCraft Corp. Action StoryCraft Story Development Software

Asked for a refund and was sent a cheque that bounced. Owner refused to respond to any emails regarding the bounced cheque and never recompensed for the dishonour fee and supposed refund. Still have the bounced cheque as proof.

StoryCraft Corp is a really good program! This is what I needed to get my creative writing juices going. It's a fun-to-use software that not only is a good writing tool but it teaches me how to write good stories in the process. I think the best thing about it is the ease of use -- you just read and write a little, then read a little more and write, and before you know it, you've practically finished your story.

Bad comments on this more than likely come from lazy people who want magic bullets for instant fame and glory... and they'll never get anywhere in life. Top people always go the extra mile, and mile, and mile...

I bought version 5.0 in August 2007 reading multiple reviews and seeing screenshots. Rather than wait for a disk, I downloaded the software. I had to download other software just to get it to run. What I see on the screen is not at all as advertised. The user interface is not remotely finished. I tried several times to contact the company, thinking what I downloaded must have been some sort of hoax. I never received a response. I would not buy it, but if you do at least get the disk from the company since it will be the last time you hear from them.

I bought this software from writerssupercenter.com. The President of this company is one of the two original developers of this software. I thought I was in good hands, but I guessed wrong. They have no phone number listed for customer support, and do not answer emails. I had to do a chargeback on my credit card.

StoryCraft guided me literally through a full novel. It suggested what kind of story I should write based on the general idea of what I wanted to write about. And then it tells you what kinds of things your characters should be doing. And what should be happening at certain steps in your story. Really fun to use. I don't know about other programs, but I'm very happy with this one. I've already used it for about 2 and a half novels. I haven't needed any tech support because it's worked very smoothly.
