Dear all if you’re looking to make a claim against PPI this organisation will more than likely reject your claim. They will invited you to refer to the financal ombusmen service. If your claim is before 1st jan 2015 you will not be able to claim and argoa know it. I feel you legally Challenge them

My husband applied for an Argos Loan & was approved immediately. We printed the documents off & posted them on Tuesday morning which seemed a very slow & old fashioned method. On Friday he rang for an update & the lady told him it had been approved but that the money would take 3/5 working days to reach our account, absolutely dreadful, have they not heard of Fast Payments!! Its Easter next Friday, so technically we could be waiting another 11 days until a week on Tuesday! Our payment date has been set for the 14th, the date of the application, but we may not have the money till 2 weeks after this, usually the payment date is set once you have received the money. Had any of this been stated on the application we would have applied elsewhere. Avoid!!

Applied for a consolidation loan of £6000 and got rejected. It says use the loan for any purpose, for me consolidation of debt is 'any purpose'. It should say do not apply unless you have a better credit score than fair. Mine has probably dropped to bad now, thanks

Application process with Argos Loans is very quick and they responded within a few days and the money went into account within a week of applying for the loan. Good application process but customer services dept are not very helpful. If you have to ring their customer services dept for any reason e.g. wanting to change your direct debit date, you always end up having to be 'called back' later which very rarely actually happens in my experience.
