Had my samsung D600 for 6 years and its still working perfectly ! I love the small size and the reliability ! Shame they dont make phones like it anymore.

I have had my samsung d600 mobile phone for four years, during which time i have dropped it numerous amounts of times by accident int both the shower the bath and on one ocasion i unfortunatly dropped it in a stream. I have also dropped it on the floor somtimes from a fair height but never once has it needed repair, I have luckerly not had a single problem with it, and it has out lasted four of my sisters mobile phones which for varies reason have needed repair or have been beond repair and she has been forced to buy a new one. But still my samsung d600 is still working without a problem, the only critism i would give the mobile is the battery is not very good at all, but if you can live with that it is a brilliant mobile a certainly worth the money.

I have had the Samsung D600 phone for 3 years now, it is amazing, wouldn't change it for the world. I have dropped it many times, and it doesn't scratch at all!
Has never ever frozen.
Always works.
NICE shape, its like a small stone, pebble thing.

This is the best of all phones. It is an all-round perfect phone that is unbeaten in my mind. I would recommend to anyone. Fantastic Battery life (lasted almost 5 days with medium usage), utterly brilliant camera for a 2mp (owned a 3.2mp and a 5mp since and they are still not as good as the D600's camera). The camcorder is fantastic. The look is pretty good and the features are good.

The D600 is a great mobile phone, simailar to the D500, but very well improved: the quality of the sound, video and photos is without doubt much better.
It comes with a TV connector and a USB cable so you can exchange files with your computer. Also the connections made to the phone have a clip- on feature so your phone cannot go lost as easly!!
The 2 mega pixel camera (with flash) is attached to the main unit and not to the slider. I've got a few dud photos by putting my finger over the lens, however. On the whole it is a top phone with tons of features and I would very much recommend it.

I have had my Samsung D600 a few weeks off a year now and still I am amazed with the quality. The video and playback are excellent and I have often uploaded vids on to You Tube. The camera is also good with 2 mega Pixels.
The only thing I do not like is the texting - even after this amount of time I still can't get used to the predictive text. What I hate the most is that the the words I type the most are the ones it will automatically change eg ME always comes out as OF and AM as AN even the process of having to go back and change it I hate. I know you can change it at the time but I often forget. I also do not like the fact that there is so many buttons to press to send the text as well and the fact it does not automatically save your email in the sent box.

Hi <br/><br/>I just saved all files to My Videos on Windows XP and then uploaded on to You Tube. I have now updated my Samsung D600 to a Nokia N95 and can safely say that the Samsung is easier to upload pictures and video's both on to my computer and online on Flicker and You Tube.

Everything about the Samsung D600 is excellent, well worth the money. I got it for £50 in part exchange for my Samsung D500. I like this phone very much and I would recommend it to anyone as it is very easy to use.

The Samsung D600 is just brilliant! It's got good memory, can connect to PC and phone easily! I don't like the way it looks and it hurts for around 10 minutes on your cheek.
Well, good phone really! Buy it now! I think you can grab one for around £99 now. My mate's got it and it's easily customizable.

I got the Samsung D600 chrome and it looks fantastic!!! My fave thing about this phone is the MP3 and the memory. I have 20 songs stored on to it and I still have a lot of memory left to use. It's the best currently out and has the best bluetooth software! It is the perfect size to slip into your pocket, is truly the best phone. Highly recommended!!! Buy it!

I wanted a phone that took good photo's, had expandable memory (I knew a few MP3's would soon fill the typical mobile phone's internal memory), had as many features as possible and to be fairly user friendly. I also wanted the cables etc in the box when I purchased because at the time I didn't have a clue what I'd need to use on a mobile phone (but don't worry, you'll learn all that very quickly from a standing start even, as I was).
First of all.., instead of paying £279 for this phone on a pay as you go basis.., I went to Phones4U and paid £149.99 plus £10 airtime and even got the network I wanted - O2 (apparently O2 themselves don't sell the phone for PAYG usage, which is a bit daft if Phones4U can do it). They do sell the phone for the Orange network too.
I totally love this phone. It has way surpassed my expectations. Sure it has the odd quirk (the T9 - predictive texting - function can be a slight pain because you continually have to reset it to get caps etc where you want them - but you quickly get used to that) - but these are far, far outweighed by the advantages the D600 offers me, compared to other phones.
I love the menu's. It takes a bit of getting used to when you have previously used a Nokia phone but it is easily managed. Many functions are a lot easier to get into using the Samsung. I think the negative things that I had seen written are just 'getting used to a new system nerves' type of comments. Like I said, a lot of functions are easier to get to than I have found before.
I am amazed at how much this phone can do (today I turned it into an MP3 player and it was loud enough and good enough quality to listen to when a friend came round and we were sitting in the garden in the sun lol!). It takes photo's really well (which are easily turned into wallpaper if you wish) and the screen is nice and relatively large (for a mobile phone).
The bluetooth function allowed me to transfer files from my phone to someone else's phone very easily - didn't even need to look at the instruction book - transferring a 1mb photo that way took seconds.
I'd advise people to consider getting a crystal case though rather than a leather or bodyglove one - they offer a lot more protection against scratching (screen in particular) and if you drop the phone. Again, these cases are available for £5 on ebay rather than a minimum of £12.99 in the shops.

The Samsung D600 has a good colour screen and the pictures from the camera are really good! The battery life runs out really quickly, and the screen is easily scratched, but I am really glad I got this phone because all my friends really like it, and some are jealous!! It has lots of good features.

The Samsung D600 is an excellent mobile phone! I got the phone on an O2 contract.
The software is excellent, as is the 2MP camera with flash. It plays MP3's, and it is video and TV compatible.
It is an excellent business phone!

The Samsung D600 mobile phone rocks!! Buy it now!! The camera quality, at 2 mega-pixels is stunning. The video quality is out of this world. The MP3 player sounds really clear, and the volume goes very loud. The software for your PC that comes with it is really easy to use, and it means that you can transfer files quickly without any trouble. It also has a video editor and photo editor included with the software. The only thing I would advise is a memory card for extra storage of your tunes and videos.
Altogether, it is a really stylish slide phone that I'm in love with!!! Oh, did I forget to say? It has a TV out so you can show your movies and pictures, and also wireless printing!!!

The Samsung D600 is a great mobile phone! I've always stuck with Nokia in the past, but this phone is easier to operate than a Nokia phone. It takes great photo's and has an MP3 player. Probably the best mobile I've had.

Oh my god! I have found a Samsung mobile phone that I love!! I used to have a Samsung T100 (I think) a few years back, which put me off Samsung for a while, so I have since done the rounds with Nokia and Sony Ericsson.
I cautiously opted for the Samsung D600 this time because it looks sexy. I've had it a week now, and I absolutely love it!!
It doesn't just look good, it performs great too!!
I would recommend it to all!

I had the Samsung D500 mobile phone before I got the Samsung D600, and there is not a lot of difference. The screen size is great, but I think the camera location is bad. I don't know if it's just me, but I tend to find myself looking at my finger because I'm used to the camera being on the slide. Texting is OK but fiddly, as you have to go through quite a bit to actually send it. I have also not been able to find a ', I looked through the manual, but it doesn't seem to have one, which is a bit annoying when you need it.
Overall though, I would say it's a great upgrade from the D500, and I wouldn't change it!

I am about to get the Samsung D600 mobile phone, and I can't wait. My last phone was really rubbish because it didn't have bluetooth or a digital camera, so it is going to be really exciting to finally get a good phone.

The Samsung D600 is a great phone with sleek design, great camera, and a whole lot of extra's. Very expensive though. But well worth it. A phone that is a bit like this is the Sony Ericsson K750i.

I found this review helpful because Clair talks about using the camera for video filming for YouTube. I made a great film of my Otters on a weir then found that Samsung saved everything in mpeg 4 which my computer could not save and therefore failed to get the film on YouTube. I use windows xp as the operating system and have media player 11 I think. I wished I had bought a Nokia which saved things as AVI files. So how did you get round mpeg 4 Clair?
