Hi. I do alot of shopping online but for a new washing machine I decided to go in-store at Currys. I saw a nice display Samsung that was on offer. Paid for it and saw it bubble wrapped in front of me. All set for delivery on Monday. BUT come Monday had a call from transport to say go back in-store as the item wasn't in stock to pick up...? “no aftercare”

induction hob went bang. rang the number on aftercare receipt. sent engineer week later. After he left it didnt work. Rang engineers again sent another week later. Wrong mother board fitted. waited another week for 3rd enginneeer. 2 days later it went wrong again. Went twice to curry shop and each time told to wait 72 hrs for a write off code. NO CODE ARRIVED. I took my Mother into Currys on 16th October, 2017 to buy a new upright gas cooker, as hers had broken down. She found one and ordered it with installation. We were given a date of 23rd October for delivery and install. Mum waited all day on the 23rd, got up really early 6am, was worried about making any dinner in case she was eating when they arrived. “Frustrating Experience”

Exceptionally frustrating experience. Ordered bluetooth speaker online on the Sunday. Received confirmation of order. Even received email saying preparing for dispatch on Monday. Only to get email 2 days later saying no stock and the stock would not be replenished. Apparently there is some clause in their terms and conditions saying this is okay though. Purchased a washing machine, not from my local branch,that was delivered as promised. Got it all plumbed in and connected did a trial programme and it was fine. Had to pick up a JVC Television from Currys on Father Christmas advice, went Wrong last week, only to be told couldn't be fixed as dropped!!!!!!!!! Went to our local currys store found a lovely fridge freezer paid for it knowhow were supposed to contact us to arrange delivery but didn't so I had to spend over an hour on the phone attempting to arrange delivery only to be told I needed to call back next day. Spoke to a Curry's representative on Friday afternoon to obtain the 'price match' that they boast about on their web site for a Bosch microwave that I wished to purchase. He said a member of their sales team would 'phone me soon to trigger this and take my order. A full 24 hours later I've still not heard from anybody and have just ordered from another company. You would like to think that being one of the last remaining Tech high street providers, Currys would have upped their game and be the best. Wrong. “Very Bad Customer Service and not refunding after 1 month”

i have purchased an item on 23 Jan, cancelled it immediately, Ideally you would expect a refund within 3 to 5 working days. I waited for 10 days and called up again, only to be told am wasting customer care executive's time and a rude response. “Curry's Knowhow Team Damaged my worktop, then blamed me”

In the store the salesman tried to tell us the model of freezer we wanted wasn't available, when I could see it quite clearly on his screen! He was obviously trying to upsell to us, as the model we wanted was at a really good price. Eventually we managed to purchase the right freezer. Went in to the Grimsby store a few weeks ago to see if they could take a look at my laptop after spilling a drink on it. Wanted £60 to send it away for it to take two weeks for it to be looked at. If can't be repaired then would cost £150 for data to be retrieved from hard drive. Took it to local independent specialist. £30 to diagnose it wasn't working anymore and then took it in again when I had my new computer and they transferred all data off old hard drive to new laptop....for free!!!!… Read Full Review

JVC 42" TV LT-42C550 failed within 2 months of purchase. Curry's would not replace and did not offer refund, only offered to repair within 8 days leaving us without a working television. Customer service was appalling to get through to and I was on hold for 25 minutes. Once someone finally answered they were unhelpful, rude and very defensive of how they were handling our case. “Absolutely chaotic!”

Poor, shoddy workmanship from 'Know How' resulting in a flooded kitchen/failure to fit appliances or meet promises of fitting/recycling, trying to leave me with an unfitted fridge/freezer in middle of kitchen floor, blocking the door.
