Litter Is Infested With Moths & Eggs

To say that I’m upset over the extreme moth invasion in my house is an understatement. For months, I’ve had hundreds of tiny moths flying in every room & laying more eggs to hatch & chew holes in my clothes, linens & furniture.

The cat litter bags are infested with moths & their eggs.

Im told the only method to destroy moth eggs is by microwaving the litter on high for several minutes. Who is going to take on that task ? Not me !

Certainly, this company is aware of the extreme moth damage that their product can cause the consumer. Where is your “warning label” on the bag of the “worlds best cat litter” ?

Moths In The Litter

I tried this litter when my cat started to develop allergies to the Tidy Cat that I had used for literally all of her life. This litter clumps well, and is great with odor control. I did find, much to my dismay, that every bag of it I purchased apparently had moth's eggs included, at no extra charge. I believe the moths I am dealing with are called "Wheat Moths", and they are proving to be rather challenging to get rid of. I have not used this product for over a year, and I still have them pathetically struggling to fly around my apartment. I have never had a problem with moth's in the past, and if I really didn't think they were included within this product, I certainly would not have spent any time sharing my experience with you. Just be advised that you may receive these little invaders when you purchase this product.

Since I started using this moth infested cat litter, I too have had an extreme problem with tiny moths. I’m currently experiencing a horrendous invasion of dozens & dozens of tiny moths flying in every room. Now they’re laying more eggs in my clothes & laundry closets. I’m finding them in my velvet furniture & furnace filters as well.

When I’d cut a bag open, moths would fly out so I tried leaving the bags outside in the direct hot sun for 3 weeks before cutting them open to use the litter but it will not kill all the eggs. It only takes a couple moths to lay more eggs inside your home so it’s not a solution.

Killing the tiny flying moths with your hands is nearly impossible since they have an extraordinary ability to navigate away from being smashed by hands. The only way is to spritz each moth you see flying with a can of bug killer. I’ve killed hundreds of moths. To say I’m upset over this months long invasion is an understatement.

I learned recently that you can kill moth eggs in the microwave on high for 4 minutes. Really ?? Well, I’m off to buy a better cat litter !!!

No Real Smell To The Litter Itself, Neutralises Od

No real smell to the litter itself, neutralises odours well, minimal tracking around the tray, brilliant clumping qualities, very economical I've been using the same 7.5kg bag for 4 weeks and I have a large automatic litterbox FULL and about a third of the litter still in the bag!

I won't ever be buying anything else. It's simply brilliant. Try it once and you'll feel the same way. Well recommend Worlds Best Cat Litter.

Well I Thought I Would Give This Stuff A Go After

Well I thought I would give this stuff a go after hearing great reviews. I usually use Bob Martin cat crystals and think they are great, no smells but the pack claims they last for 1 month, try 1 week!

Anyway the worlds best cat litter is terrible in my opinion. There isnt no cat smells, you cant smell wee or poo however its smells like a farm yard.

Before hand no one would even know I have a cat as no catty smells, but visitors recently have said my place smells like a farm yard and I agree, it really doesnt smell nice at all.

I will never use 'Worlds Best Cat Litter' stuff again. It does last for ages, clumps well but just isnt for me.

I'll be sticking with the Bob Martins Crystals in the future. I'd rather pay £3.98 a week anyday.

It is what it says; simply the best litter in the world. Scoop everyday and it's like a fresh tray of litter. The cost is more than compensated for - We will never go back to wood chip - ever.

It Is A Very Good Product, It Controls Odours Very

It is a very good product, it controls odours very well and the best thing is that the scooped out waste clumps and lumps can be flushed away down the toilet. I have had no problems whatsoever with the drain blocking as a result. But it DOES dust, especially after a week or two - no matter what the suppliers say AND it does TRACK - our litter tray is outside and we had dusty paw prints and bits of corn litter all through the house. Overall the product is OK but be prepared for the extra cleaning in your home!

Good Concept, Terrible For The Environment- Made F

Good concept, terrible for the environment- made from genetically modified corn though in my opinion. Although biodegradable, it's made from GMO corn, which is terrible for the environment as far as I am aware, due to this I do not recommend Worlds Best Cat Litter.

A Really Good Product, Although Nowhere Near The C

A really good product, although nowhere near the cheapest. However, it lasts as it clumps really well so very little is thrown out and also the remainder in the tray stays cleaner longer. It doesn't haven't any offensive smell and the cats really like it. Completely natural, so it's non-toxic and doesn't aggravate kitten's eyes as some more dusty litters can do.

It isn't cheap although it lasts longer than cheaper litters so you don't use as much and overall you end up spending less, but it can be a bit of sting in the wallet to buy at first. Price varies greatly from site to site, so shop around. The cheapest I have found so far is at http://www.woofnwhiskers.co.uk/worlds-best-cat-litter-p-1082.html and shipping isn't too expensive either.

Life Is So Much Easier When You Don't Have To Coll

Life is so much easier when you don't have to collect 'poo' in bags from the litter tray and take it out to the wheelie bin. Also, the fact that it flushes away is very useful now that local councils will be weighing wheelie bins and charging us. I would recommend putting a sheet of plastic under the litter tray that extends around the tray by a few inches. This catches the odd bits that the cats scatter and can be put back in easily - it's quite expensive after all!

Overall - fantastic, I wish I'd discovered it sooner.
