Having brought HP products in the past because of their supposed quality and customer service, I'm really disapointed that having been passed around about 7 departments for a total of about 2 hours in order to get the above resolved, I've been informed that as the product is out of warranty, they are not prepared to accept that there is an issue. Apparently - the initial warranty (not a new warranty for the new product) stands and the replacement was only covered for 3 months!! What a rip off!! Think I'll buy a cheap monitor that lasts for longer next time.

The HP F1723 has a modern grey colour 17ins screen and for my money is a brilliant purchase.
