Sexton St. Croix's cruise ship is haunted and he either has to get rid of the ghost, or sell the ship for scrap. In one last effort to convince the ghost to leave the ship, he books a psychics' cruise and hires Bree Emory, a reputable clairsentient, to counteract the charlatan's on board. Bree embarks on an 80-year-old murder investigation, encountering resistance to the truth from even Sex himself. But even though he doubts her findings, he's drawn to Bree with a magnetism similar to the flapper ghost and her beau of so long ago.
The hero is yummy, the heroine is intelligent and interesting, and both have firm goals. Daisy is the most delightful ghost I've ever read, without a doubt! This book was a pleasure to read--funny, yet it also pulled on the heartstrings.
Highly recommended!!!
