To implement Dot Net based eCommerce solutions, Priusant shopping cart component can be used as a readymade custom control. It provides interfaces for serialization and de-serialization of shopping carts so that the control can be saved and retrieved to and from a database or posted across multiple pages. With a built-in non-session based state management, the control does not require a back-end database, making it simple without compromising power. The shopping cart allows passwords or transaction key to be encrypted into a key file using Rijndael encryption, so that password or key need not be exposed in the scripting source code.
