Their Name Decribes Exactly What The Do. How Do They Sleep?

An acquaintance of mine fell for one of their "deals". Namely free printer if you buy a load of cartridges from them. Sounds to good to be true! Turns out nearly all their printers are old stock which they probably acquired very cheaply but the real jaw dropping moment was when I checked the price of their compatible ink. It was being sold at 90% of original cartridges. Normally compatibles are sold for a fraction of original cartridge price. This is huge rip-off. They are charging nearly 8 times the going rate for compatible ink.

There's a lot of bad guys out there!!

I Found Them To Be Very Good. Goods Delivered Next

I found them to be very good. Goods delivered next day as promised.

Talking to one of their telesales agents, they explained they recently bought boxshift & cartex within the last year or two.

No probs with inks so far......will keep all posted.

3 for customer service as no need to use it so far.

I Have Had Some Problems With Box Shift Who Also T

I have had some problems with Box Shift who also trade as IJT and makingitgreen.co.uk. I had some problems with their cartridges. I emailed them and they said to send them back and they'll refund it. I sent the cartridges back to them and I called them up to find out if they had received them. First they said they had received all 5 cartridges. Then they said they only received 2 of the 5 cartridges when I came to ask them about the refund. They told me that there was a problem at the post office. They sound good, but they are conning people. The cartridges I had were empty.

No response to emails.

Despite verbal assurance that refund would be effected, no sign of this over one week later.

Wouldn't touch them again with a 12 foot bargepole!

One Would Expect A Company That Expects Customers

One would expect a Company that expects customers to return would at least reply to any legitimate requests for service. I pointed out that the cartridge was faulty and asked for a Returned Goods Number in order that I could the same.I also pointed out that the MP3 Player was missing although it was on the Invoice/Packing and also that the Key Ring Photo Viewer did not have the installation CD which,according to the Display Card in the packing,was enclosed.

Have dealt with Box Shift previously and they were OK, but never again. No point in dealing with a supplier who will not answer phone or e-mails. Still waiting for delivery of ink jet cartridges after 13 days. No reply to e-mail or telephone calls

I Have Used Box Shift For The Past Few Years Now F

I have used Box Shift for the past few years now for Epson compatibles, and I found them to be excellent. I have always had very fast deliveries; often next day if I order in the morning. The quality of the ink has also never let me down, and I've always received the correct products without fail.

I Previously Ordered Cheap Ink Jet Cartridges From

I previously ordered cheap ink jet cartridges from Box Shift, and I threw about half a dozen away. I decided it was my fault for buying cheap, so I ordered a pukka Epson cartridge. It hasn't been delivered yet, and I get no reply to emails.

I Ordered Xprint Ink Cartridges From Box Shift, Bu

I ordered Xprint ink cartridges from Box Shift, but the wrong ones were sent. Box Shift would not send replacements until the original items had been returned. Eventually BS sent the ordered items, but the Xprint compatible cartridges failed to work, as they didn't fit in the printer properly. But I spent time, ink and paper finding out that it was the Box Shift cartridge that was at fault. BS wouldn't pay a refund until the cartridges had been returned. And then, BS only refunded the costs and P&P, no consideration for the inconvenience caused, or the time and materials I wasted finding out the problem was their fault. I spoke to the manager and she refused point blank to pay any compensation. She has no concern about the company image or whether I pass on my negative views about them. So I will not be buying anything from them ever again, or from Cartex (the parent company), or Eurojet, or 1st Inkcartridge, as they are all the same company operating from 1, 2, 4 & 7 Cathedral Units, Phoenix Business Park, HG4 1NS.

All companies have problems from time to time, but it is how they deal with those issues that is the measure of them, and Box Shift falls well short of any acceptable level of customer service.
