I have purchased several photo books from Pixum. I find the software easy to use to crete the books slightly more tricky to save them and return to them later to continue to create the book. I complete my photo book and they came through the post in good time. In one of my books some of the photos were in the wrong place so covering other photos I reported this to the company and they sent me a new updated book with pictures in the correct place. The quality of the photo book is excellent.

I have used Pixum several times to print out my entries for my Camera Club competitions. Generally speaking I am pleased with the results and will continue to use them. The blacks are particularly well rendered and I have had compliments from judges in Black and White competitions when it has been noted that my prints were amongst the few with 'true black' colouration. However, I do find that some prints lack the saturation of colour that you see on screen. I also find it very frustrating that Pixum crop the actual print to the size of the image. To my mind, if I order a certain size, I should get a piece of paper of that size with a white border around my image. If, for instance, my print is in letterbox format I would still expect the full size of paper with a big border top and bottom. When the print is cut to the actual size of the image it does not allow any margin for mounting.

I found it quite difficult at first not having tried it before, but with excellent assistance from one of your technical team I produced an album I was very pleased with. I have shown it to a couple of friends and they were also impressed. Hope to create another one in the future.

I was very happy with the end product (though the book corners were dented on transit). I would like better text input facilities ... including accents! The price quoted at checkout was not what appeared on my credit card. I complained and was given a new, different quote. Customer Service was very pleasant and helpful ... but it should not have happened in the first place and nobody could assure me the programming problem would be addressed urgently.

Quality of printing and paper is super. It's the fourth book I've made. Unfortunately one of the pages has something missing but Pixum are in the process of sorting it.

I wash very happy with the quality and the ease that I managed to down load my pictures, this was the first time I had done this. Will of course use again when needed. Thank you for the speed and efficiency.

I did not find the site user friendly. The instructions just directed me in circles as I could not find the photos I had stored to use for the book. Eventually I put them into another folder on my desktop and used that. That said I was pleased with the end result and think it is a fab way to keep a memory of your holiday. It is easy to show to others and they can just flick through if they want!! The quality of the finished book was good so I will use it again.

I had been disappointed by previous on line providers and high street outlets and thought I would give Pixum a try. It was relatively straight forward. The prints were well produced at a reasonable cost; the delivery time was satisfactory too. I would not hesitate to use the service again and have in fact recommended it to a colleague.

The same 30 photos were sent to 10 companies for printing at standard 6x4. Came equal top on photo quality along with MyPix and Jessops which all look like they come from the same lab. Let down compared with the other two due to not printing the filename on the back and on price. More upload options than the other two including ftp however the implementation is poor having to upload to a temporary album fist before going to the website to move to an album. Photobox on the other hand allows direct uploading to your album of choice. Well packaged although I would have preferred a more traditional folder, having a sticky patch to hold the flap down does not mix with photos. One of the first to hit the doormat along with MyPix with identical packaging. If you don't want any printing on the back this is the one to choose but that's not for me.

I ordered four kitchen calenders, but when the package arrived there was only one inside albeit the package was big enough to hold the complete order. I simply contacted Pixum by Email and the order was fulfilled in time for Christmas. I have used Pixum before and will continue to do so, good product, great service, good price and regular offers.

End product excellent but website quite challenging It took sometime to work it out and help desk did not bet back to us when we requested help

As usual, turnaround was quick and the reproduction quality was good. The feature that I would like to see improved would be the use of slightly heavier paper.

I've used Pixum photobooks many times and created four wedding albums within the last 14 months. Plus points - All albums were processed quickly. Production quality is excellent even on standard paper. Photos look as good in print as they do on screen. (provided they are edited well ie Photoshop or similar. I've not used the online enhancement tool) Minus points - Judgeing final size on screen is difficult when selecting the album size & creating the product. I've learned to physically enlarge the album image and measure the page on screen to give, for example, A4 size. Photo selection is difficult. I take images direct from a file, the icons having previously being arranged in approx. order. My albums often exceed 200+ pics. so this is much easier. State on the web-site that photo files must not be renamed or moved in any way, once the album is created, otherwise the album is 'lost'. Postage is slowwer than expected.

Really happy with the service and quality these were for framing
