Rolling Rock is one of the better mass-market American beers. Although billed as an "Extra Pale Ale," it's really an American Continental-style light lager. While not particularly interesting, Rolling Rock is light and refreshing, with a crisp bitter flavor with little hop aroma or character. An unpretentious, uncomplicated beer, it's perfect served ice cold on a hot summer day after working in the garden.

This is a crisp and tasty alternative to lager. Made famous by Mr De Niro and pals in the classic movie Deerhunter. You certainly can quaff a few of these without the worry of the harsh after taste that lager can sometimes provide. a good drink.
