Cape Town, Protea President Hotel

The Protea President Hotel in Cape Town, South Africa is well situated, and the staff could not be any more helpful. I would highly recommend the hotel and the facilities.

Protea President Hotel in Bantry Bay is approx 15 mins from Cape Town, Buses to Town and V & A Waterfront are virtually outside every 15 minutes. There is a Microwave, fridge, kettle and dishes in the room. Tea, coffee, Milk, Shower and bath gels, hankies and shampoos are left in the room daily. Nice sunny pool area (not large) but very nice and not overly full. Waiter service round pool. Breakfasts to die for, the egg chef is excellent as are the staff. We have stayed in this hotel twice within 2 years, last time March 04, and one of the waiters even remembered us and when we had been there previously. All in all a fantastic place to stay, only minutes from the promenade, and also minutes from a very good restaurant called Mimo's.
