Yesterday we traveled to London from Cardiff the driver on our return from Victoria to Cardiff at 17.15 was excellent the driver was brilliant his information which he delivered to us all was fantastic very good humour will definitely travel with you again well done on excellent customer service and satisfaction

Just returned from Inverness on the Megabus! The trip up was relaxing and stress free and the driver and assistant were very helpfull!! as was our journey home! Had the scone and cuppa which was a nice wee touch!! Yes all in all it was a pleasant journey and will be travelling with them again!!!

I wish more Megabus users would write reviews on here, because I used it for the first time this week and was super nervous by all of the negative reviews I had read online. That being said, users need to be 100% prepared for their trips by double checking their booking date(s) and by reading all of the information about tickets, pick-up and drop-off times, etc. I personally had no issues, but there was at least one person on each of my departure trips who had accidentally booked a ticket for the wrong date and couldn't purchase another one, due to Megabus' policy. Don't wait until the last minute to reserve your tickets, either, b/c they might be sold out. I purchased my round trip tickets from Indy - Chicago about 4-5 days in advance; they were sold out for my designated times about 2 days before the trip. Like I said, I had no problems. I made sure to get to the designated departure points in plenty of time. (In Indy, we met at City Market downtown, and in Chicago, we met on a bridge between 2 streets.) The buses were literally on time for both trips, we had zero traffic problems, and the buses were clean. There is a driver and an assistant that will help you load your luggage into the outside bus compartment, if you bring any. I recommend bringing only a small bag, if possible, because there aren't any compartments inside for storage; you have to stow it under your feet, taking up your legroom. Most other customers were very courteous and quiet, but my only minor complaint is about some other customers who were rude to me for boarding before they did. They were standing in line to load their luggage and I had no luggage to load, so I was entitled to board the bus before them. Why should I wait in a useless line? Overall, I had a very enjoyable time and absolutely recommend this service! Like I said, use common sense and be courteous to others.

I have read many a review on here and find the negative feedback an unfair representation of the service that Megabus provide. I booked a fare from Sunderland to London which cost me around £20 for a return. Upon entering the bus station I located the relevant stop and proceeded to wait in the queue. The bus was on time which was a good start, however the queue for the bus resembled a methadone queue. I am not snobby and decided that I would still proceed with my journey. The driver was a driver and did his job. I wasn't expecting any other than a safe journey which he provided. Anyone complaining about the customer service from the driver are really asking for a lot from the 5 pound something. The toilets do smell a little bit but this is understandable considering the people that pay for the service. Most are on benefits and as a result have poor diets. But for such cheap fares what does one expect. I would happily use this service and recommend it. Its cheap and does the job, if people want more than this then get a job and pay for something more suitable to your needs.

Travelled on the MegabusGold from Glasgow to London, wasnt sure what to expect as I had been on the night bus years ago. Was pleasantly surprised at the layout and although I had a bottom bunk it was comfortable and I slept well. Facilities were great but the biggest asset to this company are their drivers, very nice and really helpful. I dont have any negative comments about my experience and I will defo be using this service again.

I travel from Manchester to Birmingham every month by Mega bus to see my partner and if it wasn't for that service we wouldn't see each other nearly as much. Everyone I meet I tell about Mega bus and about the wonderful value for money. I love the idea that I can book my tickets on line for the best possible prices and that I don't have to print them out as they are sent straight to my mobile with a matter of seconds.

I recently travelled from Pembrock Dock to London Victoria. I must say I was very impressed with the service. The bus was modern, clean and comfortable. I definitely will be using mega bus in the future. I have recommended mega bus to friends and people I have met on my travels. Brilliant service and very good value for money.

My first mega bus of the day was delayed due to the bus breaking down, this caused me to miss my connecting megabus in Birmingham. Although I was quite upset about this the megabus drivers moved heaven and earth to make sure I got to my destination on time for my friends birthday! They were extremely friendly and very helpful, I honestly couldn't be happier with my service from them! One of the Welsh drivers was especially helpful and I'm really thankful for all his help :) Thank you very much Megabus for making my day!

Travelled from Victoria coach st to cardiff 2 weeks ago then done the return jorney back again 6 day's later , the 2 driver's were very helpful and polite , was given sandwich and drink halfway through the journey this was fresh! Considering how small the toilet was and wash basin it was very clean! It wasnt to cold and all in all a very pleasent journey and helpful carful hand with my case will definitely be using again and recomend highly !would just like to say thankyou for letting me get on the coach 30 minutes early as it was raining coming back from cardiff all this for just £15 return begabus gold .

Having used Megabus for the first time over the weekend (7TH FEB 2014- 11TH FEB), I WOULD definatly use them again, They were on time (early infact) buses were very clean and tidy, Drivers were dressed smart and polite and friendly. Atmosphere was amazing and got talking to fellow commuters, The only thing I would recommend is take plenty of fluids and dont stop long enough to grab a drink. I will be using Megabus again as so good and value for money. hope this review helps others

Booked from Leeds to London 20th October leaving the bus station in Leeds at 4:20pm. Driver was smart and friendly and loaded all of our luggage whilst everyone boarded the coach which had wi-fi which worked ok and plug sockets which was a nice bonus. Not sure why but there was two other drivers on the bus which were dropped off at a services on the way before we entered Sheffield where I just felt sorry for the driver who had about 100 people swarming all around him trying to get in the bus but he seemed to deal with it well and once again diligently dealt with passengers and loaded the luggage for them. Heading down the M1 traffic was pretty bad but we were kept informed and the driver assured us we were still on time. We pulled into another services and changed drivers where I asked if I could go for a cigarette and was allowed but asked to stay near. The next driver was also pretty cool and we got into London on time. All in all no complaints at all. Have experienced some horror trips using Megabus but the price you pay means I'm prepared for hiccups. More drivers like the one who started off the journey though and Megabus won't go far wrong.

Booked at the last minute as I found my normal provider had stopped running and wasn't expecting much. My girls had stopped using Megabus as the buses were old and likely to break down so had an excellent surprise when we got on the bus. It was the gold service and was most luxurious. My husband and I had a table for 2 facing one another with plenty of leg room and a table for our tablet, books etc. There was also an electric socket which we didn't use and free WiFi which we didn't use either but were told was a bit weak. The staff were most courteous and came round with tea, coffee and snacks to purchase. A 15 min stop at the services was welcome and I used the toilet there so can't comment on the facility on the bus. All in all a most comfortable journey and will now use Megabus again, especially if I can get the Gold service.
