Well What Can I Say About This Aoc 919 Lcd Tft Mon
Well what can i say about this AOC 919 LCD TFT monitor, first of all this is a good monitor for the first time buyer (as if the average buyer can afford to change such expensive hardware on a regular basis) my 3D games are good so dont worry about ghosting this is a quality TFT screen for games. The Iyamia has the edge if you can afford the extra £50 or so. For pro photographers you will need to buy third party calibration software to get the best results. In other words if i were a photographer keen on perfect images this may not be the TFT for you. (Andy I.T. Pro)

The Aoc 919 Monitors On-site Warranty Is A 3 Year
The AOC 919 Monitors on-site warranty is a 3 year swap-over (with a refurbished, not new, unit). I havent used this service so far.
Not as sharp as many others, but at this price (and this is the cheapest 19" TFT I have seen), who is complaining !
No height adjustment; would be helpful for such a large monitor. I believe that the replacement model, the 929, out in the US, has this and swivel (landscape and horiz) features, incl software to correct the picture between the modes.
On balance, pretty good picture and colours / contrast, and excellent for the price. Superb build quality.

Purchased 3 Of These Aoc 919 Monitors For The Offi
Purchased 3 of these AOC 919 monitors for the office, a bargain at £395 each - set up no problem - noticed the screen seems very thin compared to some others not a problem in use but when it comes to cleaning you have to be ultra careful.
Brightness a problem with a DVI connection it is very dark when playing DVD movies or watching TV or playing games.
I found a better quality picture useing D-Sub.
Colours are spot on and there is a good auto setup but this only works on D-Sub.
It's worth down loading and using microsoft cleartype with this monitor.
Warranty seems very poor it has a 3 years onsight warranty but it is not a replacement warranty someone comes out to repair or take it away which could take days.
Would I buy another I have to say NO.
Would I buy another AOC again NO.
Mainly because of the warranty I would go for a monitor which has a next day replacement warranty it's worth paying the extra unless you are happy to be without a monitor for a few days while it is repaired.
