I think if someone had paid the same price for the Ferguson FRG-120D DAB digital radio as you would for the Pure Evoke, they would then have something to moan about.

The only slight issue I had with the Ferguson FRG-120D was that I had to to have a little play with the aerial when I first got this. Trick was to take my telescopic aerial down a few notches.
I get BBC and Digita1 stations at full strength downstairs and the local (Capital Hants) ones at 1/2 to 2/3rds strength.
Im pointing towards the Chillerton Down IOW, transmitter.
I have not heard this hum that previous reviews have mentioned.
I have not tried batteries, as this sits wired up to the mains in my Kitchen.
Quality of broadcast is excellent.
I am well pleased with mine and enjoying it very much.

Does jfl work for Thomson Ferguson?
