I Have Had My Pace Dt210f For A While Now. I Bough
I have had my Pace DT210F for a while now. I bought it because it offered 2 scarts and an optical out and because my old box used to crash if I hopped channels a lot.
I have the box connected into my cinema amp via the optical out. The sound quality is very good and I even use it as a radio. The TV doesn't have to be on for this, but you have to know which channel the stations are on.
Picture quality is excellent through RGB with very little picture break-up and I have had no problems with the box crashing.
The only annoyances are the guide does take a while to load fully and you can't watch or listen to a program whilst viewing it. The "what's on now and next" feature only displays for the current channel, so you have to either use the guide or skip channels to find out what is on.

Pace Dt210f - I've Had This For 4 Months Now And I
Pace DT210F - I've had this for 4 months now and I can say it is not a good DVB reciver.
Definitely not up to Pace standards, I've just found it irratating when I stick on channels and the light keeps flashing but it doesn't change any channels. You have to switch it on and off which it a bit annoying!
Giving it back for a Phillips DTR1500 which hopefully is better.
P.S. What is the new Goodmans freeview + dab like?
I've read reviews on it and they say its cheaply made and flimsy.

The Pace Dt210f Dvb Is An Easy To Install Dtt Box,
The Pace DT210F DVB is an easy to install DTT box, the right amount of connections on the rear.
If the unit is left on channel 4, it has a tendancy to lock onto that channel. Pressing up or down does not allow you to change channel. One cure is to turn the unit off and on, or to press the guide button. Does get a bit annoying after a while.

Just Installed This Pace Dt210f. First Effort Was
Just installed this Pace DT210F. First effort was with the same TV I use for Video and DVD. This gave great pictures and dreadful sound (constant hissing in the background - bad on RF feed, worse on SCART). (Sound through TV, no hi-fi hook up). Presumably some cross-hardware interference?
Swapped to another TV in another room. Fine. Sounds good, quick response on channel changes. (Occasionally fails to respond to up/down channel - light flashes to show signal received but channel stays put! Using 'list' is more consistent and faster. User lists are very handy.
I'll try the first setup again (it is complex as I have my video wired to go throughout the house).

This Is A Review Of The Pace Dtr210t (pictured Abo
this is a review of the pace dtr210t (pictured above) not the 210f which is D shaped and has a single scart on a flying lead but since I have bought both (one was a present) I can speak about both.
I wanted a box with 2 scarts, phono audio and a signal strength meter but this pace box also has an optical output and menu language options and only cost £80. menus can be presented in welsh or gaelic in addition to english (mine's in welsh) which will appeal to some.
dual scarts means connections to tv and recorder which is useful if your vcr only has 1 scart and the optical o/p could be useful in the future.
dtv is immune to ghosting so if you get a strong but ghosted analogue signal then you should be able to receive DTV. on the website (http://www.freeview.co.uk) it said that my post code location can't get DTV - WRONG! beg, borrow (but don't steal) a box and see if you too can join the digital revolution then go out and buy one (I recommend that you buy pace)
