First of all, Samuari Warriors for the PS2 is great! It is very addictive and fun. One can battle thousands of soldiers and never get tired. It is just like it's forefathers. only this time the game actually varies. You can play as many different characters, and also create your own. There are now more weapons to equip. The characters are cool and playable. All character's skills can be developed and customized, as well as your own fighters. However, the great entertainment wears out when the game has been completed. There are no real stats or long term skill development, which can be quite sad. The process takes little time, and then it changes into a game like the old dynasty-games. The cinematics are great, and they are less annoying than DW3.

Although it looks as though there are not many characters when you start you actually un-lock a great deal more when you play through each characters storyline either in Co-op mode or single player mode. If your character is slightly on the weak side, have no fear, you can train up and collect items/weapons in Free mode. Battle through stages and kill all bosses on each stage to build up your character's rank and points in true Dynasty Warriors style.
