Never any problem. Communicate online, paperless bills. Recently had Smart Meter fitted, no problems with arranging fitting. Needed advice, prompt clear reply. Never had any worries.

I have been with this company for just over 7 years. In the past, the remotely operated switch (for white meter night-time heating and hot water) broke. It clearly said on it that it was the property of Scottish Power, not Atlantic (or Scottish Hydro - their parent company). First off, I contacted Atlantic. They arranged for a Scottish Power engineer to come and replace the switch within 24 hours - excellent service. On another occasion, my account with them was so far into the black, that I asked them not to take the direct debit for one month, via my online account. They duly obliged. You might think there is nothing exceptional about this, to my mind this makes them stand out compared to some of the horror stories there are for utility companies. I am so impressed by their customer service, that it makes me nervous to switch to a potentially cheaper supplier. I personally haven't had a bad experience with them.

Been with Atlantic now for 3 years having changed from Scottish Power & British Gas previous . Ihave never had any problems with billing unlike other utility companies who have over-charged because of excessive over estimate of the amount gas and electric used by around £300-£400 . Atlantic always always inform me of overpaymentany change to billing and have given me a free month before for being a loyal customer and refund on two ocassions when estimate had beem slighly over . Customer service is excellent and overall happy with service .

Spoke to the Atlantic call centre today re a billing issue. Was so refreshing to get straight through and receive efficient help from an intelligent, helpful and enthusiastic British person who resolved an unusual query and explained it clearly to me. Full marks to Atlantic for employing high calibre customer service staff.

I've been with Atlantic for more than two years now.I would be reluctant to change.PHONE:Quick to anwer after selection is made and always UK call centers.Staff go above and beyond if you have a query( I rang them today for information because British Gas are chasing me to change to their service).I originally asked to have my direct debits at at fixed monthly amount to suit me and pay any outstanding amounts and that was fine-Not a problem to them.They are always very accomodating and helpfull.Last year we were send a cheque for £35 (loyaly payment) and our bills are always very reasonable.Yes I mostly ring a meter reading through to make sure bills are accurate,but with a dedicated meter reading line that is no trouble at all.Excellent Company in my opinion.

Atlantic are like a breath of fresh air in today's world of Call Centres where far too often problems aren't resolved first time. I have been a customer of theirs for nearly 2 years and have nothing but good things to say about them. They even sorted out an ongoing problem I had with British Gas which had prompted me to switch in the first place. They manage to deal with everything promptly and efficiently, and best of all there doesn't seem to be any of this transferring from one department to another and being on hold all the time. Every time I have called, the representative I speak to solved the issue themselves. Well done Atlantic!

Atlantic cost a few pounds more each month - but you make that back twenty fold because you're not always on the phone trying to sort out the mistakes they've made - and you're not always receiving letters from debt collectors, because of their mistakes and your never receive bills for £1500 because of their mistakes...worth the extra £3 per month.
How can you recieve a final warning when you haven't even recieved a bill? All these things have happened to me with a major UK supplier - I'll pay extra and stick with Atlantic - definitely recommended!

After an appalling experience with NPower it was refreshing to deal with Atlantic Gas and Electric, at the time (two years ago) their prices were the best and the customer support was excellent. After being with the company for two years I have not changed my opinion.

Up to now they have been good but they seem to be having computer system problems handling the annual loyalty refunds - I've had to phone them twice so far and still no refund as yet.

My experience with Atlantic was exactly the reverse. Plagued with estimated bills which were always DOUBLE my actual use, slow response in sending amended bill which resulted in firm sending threats to cut off supply and Court Orders. Customer Support took heed when I brought their appalling record to their attention, sending a copy of my letter to my MP, and last 2 bills have been spot-on. Fingers crossed!!!

Having switched from a more expensive supplier, I have better service and its cheaper - when an estimated bill arrives, I read the meter, dial the number on the bill, key in my details and actual meter reading and within a couple of days an amended bill arrives. For the last two years I've accepted first class service as the norm and have not found a better deal.

Never had any problems with Atlantic. Staff are always helpful and friendly which makes a change in today's world. If I overpay by direct debit, I can reduce payments immediately and any overpayments are paid into my account within 2 days. I also received a loyalty refund on my end of year debit which came as a nice surprise.

I know we are slightly paying more than we should by staying with Atlantic but we will NOT be moving our electric & gas from them!!! Why? because their customer service is excellent. They actually rang us to query a bill as they considered it to high & didnt want to send it out without checking first! I have only had to ring them on a couple of occasions & each time i get straight through, with no waiting, to a nice person who really seems to want to sort out my query without fobbing me off. Amazing Company cant recommend them enough!!!!

I have found them to be good. I especially like getting money back once a year. I think their prices are good too. Never had any problems.

Atlantic have been brilliant with excellent helpful and friendly customer service. I just got my first loyalty rebate. Each year you are with them, they rebate you for one month's use on gas an one month's use on electricity. I just got £110 back! They are the cheapest gas and electricity suppliers around. I can save a bit more if I switch to Scottish Power - but their customer care ratings are in third place and Atlantic is in 1st place, so I will be staying with Atlantic. When the energy prices went down last year, Atlantic was the first company to pass on the savings to their customers and our bills went down drastically immediately. I cannot believe the other reviews. I have been with Atlantic Gas and Electricity for over a year now and I am pretty happy with the level of service and customer care I receive. No problems.

I have just received a bill for £1500 through my door despite paying an agreed £47.00 per month for my gas, when i queried it, they then advised that it was £1000 as they had not taken into account my last 12 months payments, I was then told that my monthly payments need to be upped to £82.00 a month before any payments to cover the £1000 arrears, I have told them that i can only pay the £20 a month but want to cover the arrears and want to change supplier but have been told they will not let me change until i am upto date, so now am being made to pay £82.00 PLUS £42.00 a month to cover the arrears, so my monthly gas outgoing along is now TREBLED, and have not got any chance of being able to switch supplier. I simply can not afford to triple my outgoing for gas, and am now stuck
