This Sharp Tv (28lf92h) Really Is A Load Of Rubbis
This Sharp TV (28LF92H) really is a load of rubbish, after reading all the other comments, every single one is correct, as all happened to ours. Lets face it, with the technology available today, they can make a TV break down on cue, just after the warranty runs out!

Very disappointed with the Sharp 28LF922H TV - the picture was cutting on the side after 1 year and we called Sharp to report it but they didn't want to know - 2 years on the colour went and now the tv has gone completely very gutted as we have only had the tv now for 24 and half months - to have it repaired is going to cost us over £250 and is really worth it?! - will not buy another product from them again!

I Had My First Sharp Tv Just Over 5 Months When I
I had my first Sharp tv just over 5 months when i had large black curves appear on the screen. I got in touch with Sharp who told me it was a 'known fault' and as it was still under guarantee would repair it. 5 trips to the repair shop later they gave me a new but same model tv! That worked ok for the first 5 months too but again the picture was tilted and the widescreen was extra large. They refuse to accept any blame now that its out of warranty so i won't be buying anything Sharp in the future.

The Sharp 28lf92h Widescreen Tv Was My Second Elec
The Sharp 28LF92H widescreen TV was my second electrical product made by Sharp, and I will never buy Sharp again. They make their products to last only a year or so. Both of my products were faulty within 12 months.
Spend a bit more money and buy Sony or Panasonic.

I Had A Matsui Tv Before That Was Faultless For Ar
I had a Matsui TV before that was faultless for around 5 years, and I've got major problems with the Sharp 28LF92H widescreen TV, which isn't to be expected from a company like Sharp.
I will be avoiding Sharp products from now on.

My Sharp 28lf92h Widescreen Tv Worked Fine For The
My Sharp 28LF92H widescreen TV worked fine for the first three months, then the picture started to do funny things. The picture would not fit on the screen no matter which screen mode you chose. It also tilted, and could not be brought back into position using tilt from the picture menu.
The problem was resolved, but it reoccurred after 2 months; so it went back to the repair shop.
Come on sharp!! Test your products before selling them to consumers. This is not expected of a large company like Sharp.
I have had the Sharp TV 28lf92h for 18 months, and the same fault has occured twice, the picture does not fit the screen.
A part needs to be replaced, costs about £70-80 + VAT, take to an authorised repairer. Free if still under guarantee.
My Sharp TV has done the same - I wonder if you can tell me what the problem was.

I'm Astounded At The Quality Of The Sharp Tv For T
I'm astounded at the quality of the Sharp TV for the price I paid. My last telly, a Beko 28 inch ws, went bang little over a year after purchase so have been wary of cheaper kit since. So was looking for a 'Brand' make this time around, and was shocked to be able to get this for just over 200quid.
I'm happy to say this is a cracking piece of kit, easy to install gives excellent picture quality and the sound, although not dolby, is very good indeed. Rich and deep in the bass whilst not rattling like some cheaper pieces of kit can!
The picture is excellent with my dvd and freeview (well as good as freeview gets!) as we live in an area with poor analogue reception the picture from the tuner isn't too great but that isn't the sharps fault! The colours are well defined and nicely adjustable, as are all other picture settings. My only minor gripe is that it could do with another scart, and the only s-video connector is on the front.
Careful positioning is essential as with a lot of pure flat crt reflection can be a pain Also the telly didnt come with a stand, fine for me as I didnt want one but is 50quid more if you do.
