For The Money The Hp Photosmart 7760 Is A Good Buy

For the money the HP PhotoSmart 7760 is a good buy for a family. Easy to use, like the separation for 4 by 6 photo paper. Can be irritating but having bought an all in one Epson that drives me barmny. I'm all for the HP 7760. Good overall colour.

The Paper Feed On The Hp Photosmart 7760 Is Terrib

The paper feed on the HP PhotoSmart 7760 is terrible. I have to push my finger against the stop and force the paper into the feeder. The color is now turning green,\. Does anyone know how to fix it?? I only use it because I got if to $10.00 new at a garage sale. I think the feed problem might be linked to the poorer quality paper bowing from absorbing moisture in the air, and thus not being totally level for the feed mechanism to grab it. I changing printer as soon as I can find one at a garage sale cheap.

I Say That The Printer Works Wonderfully ... If Yo

I say that the printer works wonderfully ... If you print a lot, just like any other printer, of course you are going to use up the ink, especially when you are printing pictures. I would recommend this product to everyone. The HP Photosmart 7760 printer works well and does the job..........

I Do Not Recommend The Hp Photosmart 7760 Digital

I do not recommend the HP PhotoSmart 7760 digital photo printer. It is not a space saver. The paper loading mechanism is bad. It uses a lot of ink, and it produces wet pictures.

This Is The Third Hp Printer I Have Purchased. It

This is the third HP printer I have purchased. It will be the last. I had this printer for 1 year and 8 days and it sits on top of the other HP Photosmart printers that also failed within a year. I purchased this unit at Walmart for $179.00 because my other HP failed and needed to print a contract that day. I liked the idea of card reader and the lcd screen. Now I'm after a printer that I will not have to replace once a year. The inks are extremely expensive in comparison to Canons or Epsons inks. The reason for this is there are three colors in one tank so when one color is out you have to discard it. You never get the use out of all the ink your paying for. Stick with printers that you replace the color that goes out (separate ink tanks). Customer support does pick-up fast but when they do nothing for you 8 days out of warranty-what good does fast support do!! They said they would give me a deal on a new printer?? Lets just say in 2.5 years I gave them $600.00 on what I believed to be a quality product..If they sent me a free printer I would send it back!! Junk is Junk!! I usually make my purchases towards the top of the line late model units.. and spend the money figuring it will be a better built unit?! If any of their units last mich longer than a year it certainly wasnt these 3 HP's. Keep in mind that these units had very limited use as well.. I could maybe deal with it better if it was a work horse.. This unit was lucky if it printed more than 75 pages!!!!!!!! If you are in the market for a printer I have done plenty of research this time. I have read 100's of reviews on photo printers. From professional and from users of people who have had operation for in excess of a year.. Everyone loves their printer at first so those were not taken in consideration.. The models That I would recommend for photo printers are as follows: Canon IP8500- and the Canon I9900 for wide carriage for large 13x19 prints these units don't have card readers or bling but they are 8 color printers or The Epson r800 and wide carriage R1800 also prints directly on cddvd. The people who own these units are extremely pleased.. Todays products are not tested well and I'm considering hp to be at the top of the pile.. I will purchase the I9900 today they are considered to be a workhorse with no ink clogs and turns on when the button is pushed. These units again were well taken care of and plugged into surge protectors.

I Am Bitterly Disappointed With The Hp Photosmart

I am bitterly disappointed with the HP PhotoSmart 7760. We've only had it for 7 months and the photos we have printed already look terrible! The blues are turning green, the flesh tones have faded to white and the entire photo takes on a disgusting yellow tone. The printer is not worth using, if you want decent looking pictures.

HP's solution was to use PhotoShop to add a Sepia tone to the photos -- yeah, that will work -- I'll end up with YELLOWISH-BROWN photos.
