Mustek Dv5500 - The Only Good Points Are The Size
Mustek DV5500 - The only good points are the size and ease of use. Camera is small, compact and very easy to use. Otherwise there are no good points.
There is a whole list of bad points. Camera freezescrasheshangs whenever used as a camcorder. Resolution is very bad and the zoom is awful. Whilst zooming you can actually see the picture hopping.

If You Plan On Making Some Home Videos On The Go,
If you plan on making some home videos on the go, or taking Above average digital video cam pictures while on a trip, and don't have a lot of money to throw around the Mustek DV5500 is the camera for you. Don't expect Minolta, Cannon, or Sony type 8+ Megapixel pictures from this camera. And don't try to film your next post-draft movie project on this either.
