Bought Nasa telescope and t-shirt bundle in late November for £29.99 After the t-shirt turns up without telescope. I contact them, after bouncing silly messages around and then a ridiculously dumb form to fill out. 3-4 weeks later. Today 22nd of December 2021 they tell me it’s out of stock and they will refund me. We hope? However, checking their website they are still selling the same bundle but for £63.99. Please be aware my little boy has 1 gift missing this Christmas. I’m hoping you won’t risk it.

“impossible to return a faulty item”

I bought a colour changing glass from this website which came with some of the picture scraped off and defects in the glass itself. I thought ' no problem I will return it and get another' I looked in the delivery box to find absolutely no information on my order at all! Just the item and bubble wrap which I find very odd so I went onto the website to see what the deal is. I emailed this website and they replied saying I have to send pictures of the faults in before they can look at resolving the situation. This was a massive pain in the backside but I did it...I waited 2 weeks and still nothing from them so I emailed again asking what the problem was. This time they apologised for me having difficulties uploading evidence....At no point had I said this was a problem! they then went on to say I needed to do it all again! I will never use this site or its partner companies again! AVOID!

“RIP OFF BEWARE”

I just received message they have despatched 2 items to a address in leeds i live in birmingham never ordered anything did not even know who they are, checked my account no money taken but will monitor and if taken will go to bank report fraudulent transaction, no idea wht this has happened, one of the items is a candle for bloody 99 quid thats a laugh well they have burned their last candle if money is taken from my account

“Terrible!”

Ordered two heat changing Rudolph mugs for Christmas presents. Both arrived faulty. I sent both items back and requested replacements, but nothing arrived, after waiting and worrying I wasn't going to get the items for Christmas I contacted them, it was only then they informed me they had no stock! I therefore asked for a refund instead. I am still waiting for my refund a month later!! Will never shop with them again, terrible service!!!

Have just received a very, very poor quality item (the kind of thing you might win at a fairground), which I purchased for £50, I completely agree with this. I want to return the item, but there is NO:

A) Telephone helpline
B) Online chat facility to get advice
C) Return information/label included in the package, or even instructions on how to return an item

Additionally, when I did find some instructions on their website, it involves 'contacting' the customer services team by using the online form, then waiting at least 24 hours for them to reply..

They also state that they only return 'unopened' items. This is very frustrating and surely not legal? How are you supposed to decide if you want the item or not if you can't open the box to take a look?!

“Terrible customer service”

I have just received the worst customer service I have ever had from IWOOT. I ordered my 7 year old daughters Christmas present from this company thinking they were reputable but they are not!!! The item never arrived and when I asked for help I got nothing at all! The item showed as delivered to a neighbour on the tracking, but I had no card through the door. When I tried to ring IWOOT there was no number just an email service. This is so when you have a problem they can just ignore you!!!! In the end my 7 year old little girl never got her Christmas present despite all the emails and forms filled in not once did I get any help even to contact Royal Mail to find out which address my gift was left at. No apology for the trouble and hurt caused and it is supposed to be the season of goodwill. As long as IWOOT makes a profit they do not give a monkey about the children they upset. Avoid them at all cost just go to a reputable firm on the high street that do not rip people off.

“Shocking service!”

I bought an ipad pillow which didnt fit, returned it for a refund and got a confirmation email that they have received it back. I was then told to wait 3-5 days for a refund. I have now waited 14 working days and still nothing. when I queried this I was told it will processed in the next 24 hours (so nothing has been done since they received the item back) and refunded in 3-5 days. This is a joke and if I dont get my money back I will be going to trading standards and contacting the ombudsman! I am not the only person who has complained about this and they connot be allowed to continue trading like this.

“Shameful Service”

Do not trust this company! I ordered WWE Monopoly mid Nov, it was dispatched on 28th Nov and never arrived. Since then I have tried to get my money back and they have still not done this. They had the game in stock and said they would issue it again but never bothered. You have to use their web form to contact customer service and they take 2 days to reply and don't give you an email address you can go back to. I then tried Facebook messeger which took just as long and no one can confirm or deny anything. I asked for my money back 3 times and still not received it. It's now 22nd Dec and I have no toy, no refund and no one is making any effort to contact me. It's a disgraceful way to treat customers, especially at Christmas, I will never use this site again.

Awful service. Took payment , said stock, 2 weeks later no reply no updated. The phone number is not a customer service phone line it's a message 24/7 saying go to the web site. Don't deal with these people. 1 week prior to Xmas and they haven't said if it's on it's way or not .. Childs toy for Xmas too. Seriously you have problems . I'm hitting social media 3000 people today to let people know .

“RUBBISH CUSTOMER CARE - BEWARE!”

Placed order for 2 items, one of which sent in wrong size. Would not arrange collection, now have to take heavy parcel to Post Office. I don't drive and am a Pensioner so this is very difficult and inconvenient for me. Further, will have to wait 10 days or more for the merchant to process refund once they have received the incorrect item! As this item was as a present for a couple of days time, I can ill afford to layout a further amount for a replacement from elsewhere. No contact phone number and their messaging service appears to be run by robots as they do not provide a relevant response simply quoting pre-set answers ignoring the actual questions asked!

I preordered a Storm trooper voice changing helmet for a birthday present without issue. 2 weeks after it should have arrived I had an apologetic e-mail saying they didn't have enough stock and my order was cancelled. At this point I couldn't try to place an order with another company as they had limited production numbers and had sold out. Surprised they agreed to sell me something when they hadn't secured the stock. I now have a very disappointed boy in my house who had specifically asked for this as a present thanks IWOOT this was the first purchase I "almost" made with you. Avoid this company.

“CANDLE SUBSCRIPTION”

BEWARE ... I HAVE BROUGHT 3 LOTS OF THESE CANDLES FOR A 1 MONTH SUBSCRIPTION @ £9.99. I have just noticed this company have taken another 3 payments from my account of £19.99 X 3. Their explanation being that the small print on their website says that although you click a tab to say you want it for 1 MONTH, unless you actually go on-line, into your account details and cancel the subscriptions (that you are unaware you have commited too) you have automatically agreed to receive these items monthly EVEN THOUGH INVOICE CLEARLY STATES A 1 MONTH SUBSCRIPTION. YOU HAVE 14 DAYS TO CANCEL AFTER THEY TAKE YOUR PAYMENT TO ENSURE THEY DO NOT TAKE THE NEXT ONE ... SO AT BEST YOU WILL BE PAYING £19.99 MORE THEN YOU WANT / NEED TO. Customer Services answer was pretty much tough luck. Needless to say I WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN, AND WOULD LIKE TO WARN YOU ALL ABOUT THIS RIP-OFF. What a shame as the candles are wonderful !

It has now been 20 days since I placed an order with IWOOT. They are refusing to refund my money and haven'r dispatched my order. Terrible service. I have had numerous messages saying that my order will be dispatched soon, but it hasn't. They even replied to a review of mine saying that they would offer me a voucher, but they didn't!

“Return of a steam iron”

I purchased a Breville steam iron that leaked in several places which I returned via their returns service and sent them the tracking number. Nearly a month later and three requests I have still not had a refund. I will never use them again.

“I wish the mystery box had remained a mystery!”

After previously purchasing a ''my geek box" and being quite impressed on not just the quality of contents but the packaging I decided to get a Star Wars box from iwoot, however was very disappointed as I received not an official geek box but just a few cheap quality stocking fillers thrown into a tatty brown cardboard box (obviously tat they had lying around which they couldn't shift). The few things which I did receive were worth no way near the money I paid and when I emailed customer services was basically told it's tough, it's a mystery box so you get what your given which obviously gives them leave to rip people off, please think twice before ordering such rubbish and get some decent Star Wars material from elsewhere.

On their website there is a "Contact Us" form. I was too kind and gave them plenty of time to reply but it meant we became pen pals for about 2 months. In the end I only got my refund because I got PayPal involved.
