i went in to my local store in Brighton and the customer service was shocking. im not one to normally complain but i wasn't treated with the care i was needed. my laptop was fairly new, bought in December just after Christmas and my laptop had decided to freeze on me. i took it into my local store in January and they sent me away to take it back to factory settings. “Poor customer skills”

After my laptop broke i was in desperate need to replace it, fast. I went into PC World after reviewing several different laptops online. I waited patiently for a sales rep but after quite sometime still no help. After finding someone from a different sector they put me into the queue of people waiting. Eventually it was my turn!! “Misselling security software”

Bought a laptop, very pleased with it. Sales assistant offered me mcaffi security software. Told him I had Norton on an old computer I was scrapping and would be transferring licence. Told me this could not be done as people could then buy a licence and give to friends. Bought a licence, checked when I got home and found (you guessed!) licence can be transferred. I did all my product research online, made comparisons etc and went to the Swansea store in Morfa retail park after work to purchase 3520 HP printer. There were at least four sales people doing absoloutely nothing, but did they come and see if I needed help? I started to wonder if I had Harry Potter's invisibility cloak! “Service pretty awful so far”

Bought Samsung TV + blue-ray + sound-stream on May 6th. Total cost £1200.00. including setup price of £90.00. Original set up meant plug in TV and leave. The TV worked but nothing else did. Had further visit Saturday from engineers who didn't have a clue on connecting the system, they also left having achieved nothing. I went in Currys Worksop on Bank holiday Monday. I wanted some advice on the product I was buying. The store was really quiet and although the it was quiet there were 3 guts stood there watching telli and didn't offer to come to me. “Tesco is cheaper”

The sales assistant was attentive until it came to the point where we were asked to buy the add ons like virus protection and insurance. When we declined these products the sales assistant completely lost interest. “Cumbersome procedures to provide a VAT invoice”

I like PC world. You have a good selection of products which are well displayed. However, your procedures for providing a business customer with a VAT tax invoice are nothing short of ludicrous and cumbersome. The customer virtually has to plead with a sales assistant who then makes you sit down for 15 minutes while he gathers all sorts of details.
