I Read The Reviews Here Before Switching Over Our

I read the reviews here before switching over our email service to webmail.us and for some reason didn't take the previous posters comments seriously. Don't make the same mistake we made. We send out order confirmation emails when people purchase products on our web site and then send out shipping confirmation emails nightly as a batch process as we get tracking data from our distributor. Since we started using the service (just 3 weeks ago) these simple tasks have been a complete nightmare for us. Every night they block our shipping confirmation emails after sending out the first couple of messages and we have to put in a support ticket to have them released from their MailBomb (an apropos name) system. Now even our order confirmation emails are getting caught. If you are a business do yourself a favour and stay away from this company.

Webmail Us Offers 100mb And 1gb Mail Boxes, Spam F

Webmail US offers 100MB and 1GB mail boxes, spam filtering and 25MB attachment limitations. Due to the nature of our work we needed desperately to increase the size of the limitations. We opted for the 100MB accounts and 25MB attachment limitation for $60/year. Not bad. However, there is a HUGE fatal flaw in their service, and there is better alternatives.

Now, everyone knows when you first start a new email hosting or new email, for the first little bit you're going to need to watch the spam folder and see if any false-positives are in there or visa-versa. When they changed over their servers, we did the same thing again. My own domain - safelist. Etc. We get most of our email from each other in the company and eventually I wasn't getting emails, and it was getting embarrassing when the boss man said "I sent it to you" and you really didn't get it. So I looked inside the spam filter and sure enough, there it was. I looked at the email, there was not a single word I could possible imagine that a spam filter would catch. We are licensed professional, there isn't any words we use that should flag any spam related words. So I put his specific email in a safe list. Then I contacted them and they had me email headers to them and such. I was a computer tech for over a decade, I know how things work, I'm not a newbie. Basically after about a half dozen emails they said "We don't know why, we'll look into it" And for months and month the same exact things were happening. I would be getting emails from someone, all is good, then all of the sudden, they'd stop. I'd keep emailing them and for a week I wouldn't remember to go check the email SPAM folder, which is annoying because we pay so we can have POP email and use our outlook clients of choice. (Outlook/Thunderbird.) And sure enough, all their emails are there, with them getting madder and madder and why they have to tell us things several times. This does not work well when you are working under multi-million dollar deals, communicating with co-workers, working under deadlines or even talking with friends. And I mean, what more can you do? I have their domain and specific email under a safe life and STILL the spam folders take the email. You can use webmail if you REALLY want to sit online ALL DAY and look though in your spam filter, because there is where you will find a lot of your email. It's just totally unacceptable. This is AFTER dozens and dozens of emails to and fro with tech support. They always conclude "We'll look into it" "I don't know why" or "Sorry, we'll keep an eye out". You may be tricked into the low PRICE, but it COSTS much much more of everyone's time. It has cost me and the company literally thousands and thousands of dollars, because without information at the speed in which it's given, we can't move forward. It's just totally unacceptable. I gave them several chances, but there is so many better and cheaper alternatives now (google.com/a 's hosting services - free) than I have no choice but to leave.

Bottom Line:

DO NOT under any circumstances use WEBMAIL.US. For FREE you can go to google.com/a and get hosted for free and you get 20MB attachment limitations and 2GB mailboxes, (for the time being, they up it all the time) SPAM FILTERS THAT WORK (priceless) a much better web based interface when you are away. Google rocks.

The webmail client itself looks pretty sharp, and it seems to improve around every corner. I could not ask for better software and support, and I wish all companies I dealt with were as good as Webmail US.

I've Tried Many Email Hosting Services And Webmail

I've tried many email hosting services and Webmail.us is by far the best. Very reliable, great webmail interface, they are always improving their products and services, they communicate well to their customers, and their support staff is first class. I have recommended them to many people.

I wouldn't recommend this company due to their support department. Staff is rude and unhelpful.

If you don't have any problems with their service, then you will never have to deal with this. If you do have a problem, good luck.

I'd recommend you look for some other service.
