The Samsung SGH S300M is not a bad little phone, great for downloading ringtones and wallpapers. Great 65K colour screen, colour exterior screen on clam shell is smart as well.
Compiling a text is slow, as it takes approx 4 seconds to wait for a key to be reavailable to use again.
Samsung UK support was pretty poor for the PC application to download ringtones/walpapers from various CD suppliers. The supplier knew more about the easy GPRs applications than Samsung did!
Samsung UK insisted the S300 software was the same for the S300M, and it isn't trust me, you need the beta version!

I have just purchased the Samsung S300M the upgrade to the S300 (mms compatible) the phone is a joy to have! It looks great, it's light and it is built really well. The ringtones are very good with voice's in the ringtones- Samsung have by far the best ringtones on the market!
I have had a Trium 110, Nokia 7250, Sagem MYV so far this year but this phone is by far the best!
Trium 110- no coulor screen, basic polytphonic ringtones.
Nokia 7250- ok ringtones, poor screen quality, poor camera.
Sagem MYV-65- feels cheap, rintones are ok.
I really do think Samsung do the best phones on the market and I will be upgrading to the E600 soon.
