Inspector Morse is a great crime drama. The acting is always very good and very consistent. The moody character of Morse is loveable and adds to the series. The main characters are very well and consistently played and much of the series is believable, although one could always doubt where the genius skills of solving any murder come from, but then again this remains of course fiction and within that respect it is very good.
