Sundayleague is ultimately an extremely addicting game, and although it requires a bit of patience and logic, it can be played by anyone anywhere of any age. A few downsides, there are games every1 or 2 nights, so it would be best to get in other competitions so you are constantly playing. Also, you cannot see the teams playing, or replays of the match which would be great. Otherwise this game totally rocks and i reckon you should have a go yourself. Also, very lifelike, and sundayleague pay great attention to detail

I've been playing Sunday League on the piggy server for a couple of years now and I can see myself playing it for many more. The design and gameplay is excellent and you can enter as many competitions as you like depending on how keen you are. You can also talk to fellow managers on the forums about absolutely anything and everyone loves the competition. Value for money is excellent. I've won a digital camera, t-shirt and lots of credits for winning different cups and tables. You must give it go.

Overall Sunday League is a bit of great fun! (even if your not willing to spend money on credits!)
The game looks in real detail at specific areas one wouldn't usually think of.
Allowing you to see the Ref, what his personality is like so you can change your play accordingly, and knowing the weather allows you to change boots.
There's also a little man that's always there, giving you helpful hints along the way.
You can always play your mate's even if your not in the same league! (leagues arent that confusing once you get your head around them.)
Watch out, you could just spend 10 minutes everyday, or you could spend hours checking and re-checking your squad!!
Great fun, would recommend to all football lovers!

Sunday League is a great online experience. It offers the user access to a massive universe of soccer enthusiasts and allows complete control over a virtual soccer team. The only downside to the game is how easily credits are spent, making you reach for your pocketbook after only one major transfer or a solid week of training. If you dont want to dish out the 10 pounds it costs for another 1500 credits, you can always answer questionnares and write reviews like this one.

I didn't put anything in good and bad points, for this review of Sunday League (www.sundayleague.com), because I want them to appear in this box.
Sundayleague.com is a brilliant online experience. Players have the ability to play their friends and people all over the world! It's easy to use and navigate the site and if your a first time user signup couldn't be simpler, just click the link and fill in your details and within seconds you'll recieve an e-mail with your verification code etc.
The fun doesn't stop once your in the game either. Take your credits and spend them on Training or in the Transfer Market, and if your short on credits there are so many ways to get more: Phone up, Text in, Use PayPal or Credit Cards. You can also write a review like this or answer various questionnaire's. There is an amazing range of different things you can do inside: Training, Tactics, Team Management, Transfer Market, Chat, Forum, League's, Knockout Cups and SO much more!!!!!!!!!
This is a brilliant online game which is easy to use and will have you playing it everyday. So give it a go and have fun!!!

So just what is www.sundayleague.com ? Well its an online football management game where you if registered you run a team. Sunday League is free to sign up although when in the game you may have to purchase credits to reach a sub standard team although it is voluntary and you are funded with 1000 credits for verifying your account via email. For Around £1.50 you will recieve 1000 credits and if you win a game 10 credits will be awarded to your account and 5 for a draw. Its a very big site with several servers of games called mogzilla, piggy and so on. Certain servers may suit you better as some tend to have less players and some more. If there is a team without a manager the computer runs it for them. The amount of competitions, promotions, cups, games and so on really is endless with several upon several of those options happening almost everyday which sometimes include free credits for fillin out forms or possibly winning your credits back in a cup. So overall I would say this game is probably value for money and very very addictive to become the best, and yes its a very good laugh and very very very very fun :)

My review on Sunday League (www.sundayleague.com) is that it's pure genius and I have loved it ever since my friend told me about it. In all my school lessons I'm on it:P The reason I feel its so great is the fact your the boss you call the shots and you can make your team a lot better with training and also help of the transfer market. In a small way shows you whats its like to be a manager although sometimes its comical which really brings it back to the other fact that its just a game so on the whole its one fun game.

www.SundayLeague.com - It's easy to remember, and perhaps luckily so...why? Because if you're a football fan, or soccer as some of you may see it, you'll be visiting it quite regularly.
On your first visit, you'll find a whole range of differently-named servers on which you can play. Whether it's Cat Games' self-funded servers or one of the many sponsored severs (Manchester United, anyone?) each offer different prizes to the best managers in the season; so follow your friends or follow the prizes, the choice is yours.
Server selection over, it's time to register; fill in the extremely simple fields, get your e-mail and log-in! Once you've done this you're set to enter the world of crazy scores, crazy referees and even crazier penalty-decisions. Of course you're not alone, though. Each time you log in you'll be greeted with the latest news and a little game-play tip, not to mention the pretty meaty FAQ which is accessible at all times.
If you still have problems, you can visit the forums and check the relevant sections where fellow users post strategy tips and so forth. Learn while you still can!
The main jist of it, however, is you begin with a team of 20, mostly, no-hopers as you try to become the best of the best. Whether you bring in new blood, train what you have, or simply turn up on match-day; you play to win.
The tactical part of the game (which in many cases works in a Rock-Paper-Scissors sense) can be as static or as flexible as you want it, set the general tactics for the next game and leave it till the next day to see the result, or plan out all the minor aspects of each and every match - e.g. 'If at 70 minutes the team is losing by 2 goals, change to attacking' of course the actual execution is extremely more simplified in a basic multiple-choice style.
The game is essentially free to play, although the purchasing of credits allow you to challenge people to friendlies, buy new players, or enter some of the bigger cups to win large amounts of credits. How you want to play is purely up to you, as deep or as simple as you want to; no-one is there to judge you, except maybe that friend who just hammered you 12-1.
Outside of the main interface of the game, Cat Games run a very streamlined support group, which will help you try and solve any technical issues as soon as possible, of course the quality is of a great enough standard that I've never yet found a glitch or error.
Something to remember though, this isn't a football management game where you manage professionals. It's a Sunday League as the name suggests; 8-0 victories are just as common as a player headbutting another. Also, matches aren't a real-time event; you can't watch the game play out instead the server simulates each game during off-periods (mostly overnight for league games) and posts the results with a humourous match-report and goal summary afterwards.
All in all, it's a great game and at least worth the time to give it a go, if not purely for the fantastic football loving community. There's no obligation to stay if you don't like it, so there's no reason not to see what the fuss is about.
And how could I leave you without ripping-off one of our lovable Football adverts?
Eat Football, Sleep Football, Play SundayLeague.
Best of luck, Jimmy04@Benny

Sunday League is an online footy management game that you can even play with your mates. It uses top quality tactical techniques and combines it with humorous drawings and players not turning up so they can play on their new console. It is free to play but costs extra to buy credits, but it's all worth it if you win a prize, e.g., MP3 player. The season lasts about 45 days and games are played at 3a.m GMT. It has to be the biggest and funniest online management game. You need no extra downloads or plug ins.

Sunday League - NB. This review is written by a fan of the game, but I have tried to keep my review as general and unbiased as possible.
Upon visiting www.sundayleague.com you are given a multitude of servers to choose from. These vary from un-sponsored servers, available on the main page, to the servers sponsored by football (Most of your teams will be available, giving you a username with your team as a domain - e.g. User@Arsenal) teams and companies. All servers have different prizes ranging from DVD players, Mp3 players and Games Consoles to copies of new games and replica football jerseys (more commonly found on the team sponsored servers).
Signing up to your new team is easy. Simply fill out a small, quick registration form and you're ready to get playing! You will be given a squad of 20 players, with which you will experience all the toils and triumphs of every real manager such as injures, suspensions, winning the league and competing in various cups as you take your bunch of inexperienced part-timers to a full squad of seasoned champions! Your players are fully customisable! You can choose names and faces for you players, giving you the freedom to name your team after your mates, or your footballing heroes!
Playing the game itself is a progressive ride from an easy start in a low league to a tactical master class in the top flight. The basic tactics allow a rock/paper/scissors equilibrium that all new managers must learn and can use to achieve glory early on in their league career. As you progress up to the top leagues, the quality of your opposition improves and forces you to use 'Advanced tactics' to try and outwit your tougher opponents. By this time other tactical choices will come to light which add depth to the game - e.g., The weather report says it's going to be raining! Should you play a passing game on a muddy pitch?
In real football, Cups are important to every team. Sunday League offers you lots of different cups, each with different qualification rules and prizes (for example, The Champions Shield is a free-to-enter cup for every team on the server who have won their league in the previous season.) If you become an accomplished enough manager to win a cup, you will receive a prize ranging from 1000 to 5000 credits with the additional prize of a terrific Sunday League goody bag for the tougher cups!
The Game is maintained very well. The Sunday League staff has worked hard to compile many help facilities, such as an FAQ that answers almost every question you could have and a super quick, reliable feedback service. The game itself runs very smoothly and glitches/bugs are few and far between.
This game is highly addictive and a real hoot to play, but many people stay for the terrific community created by the forums. There are local server-specific forums where you can discuss match results and participate in a bit of friendly banter. Then there are centralised forums where you can ask questions about the workings of the game, discuss strategy tips and talk about a topic of general interest. With such a vast amount of people, you are bound to find someone interesting you can talk to, and integrate yourself into the community.
This game is truly fun to play and is bolstered by the community it has spawned. With such a great structure, huge game depth, and a nationally loved theme, it's no wonder this is the World's biggest online management game! Good Luck!

Sunday League - Easy to register and you will be given a team of 20 players of which 11 will be in the starting line up and three will be on the side lines at any given match.
You as the manager of the team will have to look at each player's position, injury, attributes, stats, etc., to make a judgment on who should be playing that day, as these things change from day to day and game to game. Players improve differently with training, and have hidden stats for training acceleration. Age and speed is also important.
Player's skills are generally better when they are new with the team and seem to improve more than players who have been with the team for 7 seasons, where they start to decline. Watch out for star players that can play both sides (very rare) and ones that continue to play well, especially strikers, even after 7 seasons.
Once you have selected the best 11 to start and the 3 subs, then it's the tactics page where you can decide what tactics and game plan to play. This will depend a great deal on what your opponent is playing, as you will be able to see his basic tactic but not the advanced tactics.
This is great since you can bluff your opponent thought the basic tactics and have your advance tactics beat him.
Cup competitions are also a good way of winning a lot of credits so that you don't have to spend money. There are different cups, some that you enter and others that you win to get into.
Friendlies are more important than people since it secretly doubles the power of training when you offer the challenge. Not many people know that.
The game offers prizes for different achievement with top manager getting the top prize. Most people love the game for the forum, which is another place to learn more on how to be good at the game.
