Good Charlotte, The Chronicles of Life and Death definitely came as a surprise. After hearing the first two albums from the band you could hear they were growing but they've gone beyond what I had expected. Pulling in violins, cellos, etc. and making the once simple three chord punk guitar parts into beautiful complex melodies the guys of Good Charlotte have pulled off a wonderful album. This 15 track album (featuring "Predictable" and "I just Wanna Live") pulls away from the well worn path of Green Day and begins Good Charlotte's long road of becoming a truly unique band. The dark and edgy side of Good Charlotte that we just barley witnessed in their previous album "The Young and the Hopeless" shines through in The Chronicles. But the witty humor of the last two albums lives on in "I Just Wanna Live", a play off of "Lifestyles of the Rich and the Famous" from the Young and the Hopeless CD. This album is a must-have for all Good Charlotte lovers.

Good Charlotte, Chronicles Of Life & Death - I love Good Charlotte, they're the best band ever. Anyway, this album's great, it's quite different to their first 2, they were more drums and jumping around songs if you know what I mean. I've got the death version, but if you put it in the computer it plays the life version bonus track as well. It also has a couple of hidden features for the computer. The songs on this album are more meaningful with good lyrics and slower and faster songs. The inserts are good as well, it has cool pictures in that Billy drew. Go buy it, it's great!
