Nuevo Horizonte, La Piramides

The all inclusive food was 8 - 10am / 2 - 3pm / 6.30 - 8.30

All inclusive bar 10am - 10pm then chargeabl. There are no snacks through the day and the pool bar was closed whilst we were there. There is not a lot of food choices and virtually no childrens options on the menu. The food was never hot and not very edible. The on site shop was closed more often than it was open. We had a linen change 2 days after arrival and none thereafter. Towels in our apartment were only changed after ten minutes of trying to get the cleaning staff to comprehend what I was asking for (shaking the towel in the air seemed to be the answer)

The other two rooms that our party were occupying didn't get either towel or linen changes in two weeks.

The bonus was that within easy walking distance were some good bars and eateries where we could get some really nice food. Not what you expect on an all inclusive holiday but you learn from your mistakes.

The nearest town from La Piramides is 30 mins walk along prom or 5 mins taxi ride. Airport is 5 mins taxi ride away, no planes coming in at night so quiet then, no beach in Nuevo but a nice one in caleta. Ideal place if you like walking, lovely views along coast. feed the chipmunks along the prom which are friendly. near to bus stop to most towns on island, cheap fares. every corner has a supermarket (shop around the biggest isn't always cheapest)

Brilliant shopping mall bus or taxi ride away with eurospar, very very cheap, spirits £3 a bottle or there abouts.
