Matt Lande is a 25-year old singer/songwriter/musician who has written more than 100 songs. He has been performing, writing and recording in various bands for the past 6 years.

The end of 2002 brought the release of his solo 5 song EP entitled "Float" where all songs reached the top 20 on the MP3 charts. The title track "Float" soared all the way to #3. Most of his 2003 was spent as lead singer for the accomplished band "39 Stripes". That left no time for promotion of his own music up until recently. As of late, he has felt the strong call to begin where he left off. Diving right back into things with a new passion and desire, Matt returned to Unseen Sound Studio in Lynchburg, VA to complete his first full solo 12 song album titled "Ordinary When...". The album title and title track introduce the concept... "What if the rarest times, those perfect moments in our life, that are so far and in between, were simply the norm? What if a place we've never noticed before became so familiar all of a sudden, and captured our focus and our heart? Imagine if those times were the illustration of what made up an ordinary world." This new album is deep yet refreshing. Featuring all songs from "Float" plus 7 new ones, "Ordinary When..." promises to bring you a unique pop/rock style with catchy hooks, variety and emotion.
