My Kawasaki Eliminator breaks down all the time, in the shop more times than on the road. Not very stable in the wet, it only likes sunny weather.

I have the same problem, in particular in the cold. Possibly carb icing, the bikes engine is open to elements and the cold air kills it. Also wet weather causes the battery to go flat. I've called the RAC out 10 times now, yet every time I take it back to the garage (bearing in mind the bike is only 6 months old on an 06 plate) they can't find a fault.

Have you had any luck?

I have the EXACT same problem Telecaster has, it just happened for the third time tonight and it's only one year old; i've had it for less then a month.

Every time i take it in to get fixed they cannot find the problem. I don't like taking it out anymore because of this as i don't want to be stranded in god knows where.

Other then that i do love to ride it though, when it allows me of course.

I bought my 07 Eliminator at the start of summer last year. I'm just now beginning to get these problems with the cold and the wet. It seems to be mostly the wet mine doesn't like - a sudden loss of power and when you roll to a stop the engine just ticks over but won't let you rev up. I leave it to dry out for 5 mins and then it seems to revive.
I'm reluctant to give up on it though because it is a lovely ride to and from work, 20 miles each way.

I gave up with this bike, does not like the winter - be warned. Even Kawasaki gave up with it.
