“Bring back some of the old panelists.”

★★★★☆

written by Jax448 on 30/12/2017

Not keen on Denise Van Outen. Would like to see Jenny Eclair, Carol McGiffin and Jamelia back. Enjoy watching when Janet is on and Kay and Jane. Think Andrea gets some unfair crticism.

“sharon osborne on show!”

★★★★☆

written by 392Brennan on 07/11/2014

We were so looking forward to loose woman today with sharon osborne on the panel. Nadia completely spoilt it. Yes she had an opinion and felt very strongly about it but the producers should have shouted in her ear piece a bit earlier. She was becoming quite aggressive and not allowing any one else there opinion. We have watched loose women since the first show. My daughter and I tune in when ever work allows. The presenters come and go with different personalities, opinions and life experience. That's what makes the show so good. Of course we have our favorites, in the past Carol, Jane, denise, Lisa, Linda and current Janet, Ruth, Linda, colleen, Sherrie. Andrea. No two shows are ever the same and love the guests they have on. Only criticism is no shows in the summer school holidays. Keep it up girls. We love the show!

“Presenters”

I am so happy Coleen Nolan is back on the panel. Brilliant move. I do hope rumours of Kaye Adams coming back are true, all good, but please will you ask Sheree to stop going on about her precious daughter as if she is the only person who has a close relationship with her daughter, very boring !

“put Jane MacDonald in Charge”

★★★★☆

written by on 17/09/2013

I have always watched Loose Women on my days off. The best presenters are Jane MacDonald and Ruth. They are professional without showing off all the time. they don't ramble on about them-selves, unlike the others do. So put them in charge if you have to change the other members in the New Year. Also Coleen had a great sense of humour and that's what you need to cheer people up during the day time. Perhaps having the guests perform during the show, that would make it a lovely show. So cut out all the chatting and have guests performing would be a good idea perhaps? Thanks Caroline A

“Lisa Maxwell 'lives in the country now!!!!'”

★★★★☆

written by Alimacb on 12/11/2012

If Lisa Maxwell says 'I live in the country now' once more, I think like the I'm a celebrity contestants she has been criticising today, I will scream. You would think she was the only person who lives a rural life. It is getting as annoying as Lesley Garrett's constant 'you know I am married to a doctor' which used to irritate everyone so much. When she said today that she wouldn't mind the bugs in 'I'm a celebrity' as she lives in the country and is used to them and was then voted to do the trial, it was poetic justice (and then she screamed and swore very loudly all the way through doing it!!!! Her comment about keeping her mouth shut in future was so apt. Love the rest of the ladies though especially JSP, and the 2 Carols.

Madinet's Response to Alimacb's Review

Totally agree... if I hear her say once more that she now lives in The Cotswolds I will scream. WE DONT CARE, stop bragging, it is not attractive.

“Audience”

★★★★☆

written by Irritation on 13/06/2012

Would it be possible to throw a bucket of water over the over excited screaming women in th audience of Loose Women who invade my ears every lunchtime. It is not attractive, unnecessary and completely drowns out whatever the presenter is trying to say who then ends up by shouting at the camera. No doubt they have been whipped up into this ridiculous frenzy by a comedic warm up man. If the programme has to have an audience at all then let's please get back to some sort of normality where we can enjoy this often very interesting programme in peace.

“Good but...”

★★★★☆

written by Angie75 on 17/04/2012

I don't like Carol Vorderman on here. When I see her on other shows she is much more relaxed and funny, maybe she's not feeling as comfortable being in a woman only panel. I like Andrea more everytime she's on and often has very well thought out questions (Are they her own or scripted?) and has diverse realistic views. As much as I like JSP she's not really in touch with real life, just like Carol, Jane, Jenny. They are periodically funny but regardless of the subject discussed I kinda know what each of their viewpoints are, so its feeling all a bit samey. I enjoyed the variety of guests last week mainly as they were a lot younger. As a 36 year old I don't seem to have much in common with the 52 gang. Women only of that age bracket seem to be represented and are largely critical without understanding of what life is like to the minions of us who don't enjoy their lifestyle. The programs subjects seem to follow on from whats been shown on This Morning. I don't always get to watch that, but if I do it would be nice to have a different talking point, even a random issue for part of the show, views can still be current on a wide range of subjects, especially if its subjects that really matter to its viewers, not just whats happening in the celebrity world. The variety of guests is good I feel, but I do cringe and turn off when I have to see Denise through herself and drool over the male guests and sits pulling sour faces to pretty young women. I used to like her, but with whats going on in her life I don't really want to observe her difficulties during my lunch time, she needs to take stock, focus on her children and spend time making herself a new life with focus and not propping up bars and falling over men. Its embarassing to watch. I think Loose Woman would benefit from a fresh makeover, with new, variety of guest panelists, who aren't afraid to voice an alternative point of view.

“in general, it is a good program. sometimes they go on...”

★★★★☆

written by on 29/10/2009

in general, it is a good program. sometimes they go on about things that are just irrelevant or boring, but most of the time it is pretty good. the worst presenter is linda bellingham, because she thinks that she is the best person on earth, and acts so holier than thou. jane mcdonald is pretty funny, because she seems really genuine. they should talk about more controversial issues, because this would allow more clashing opinions, like they have on the american program 'the view' in america. if they talked about these subjects they might actually be taken seriously. they should only have one guest per show, because having two guests mean they only get like 5 minutes each.

in general i would recommend the program, because it is the only thing on at 12:30 that is any good, and the hour goes really fast, but they need to go back to discusssing issues, not just moaning about men and body image.

“Loose Women is a great title as most of the women on...”

★★★★☆

written by livvy gibb on 26/03/2009

Loose Women is a great title as most of the women on the show feel free to chat about all topics. yes, some issues are inane but then they get their material from every day life in Britain. The show is about a hearty laugh which helps with the seratonin and oxytoxin. This is not meant to be an intellectual program so just enjoy it even though each person on the panel can be a bit self-absorbed and a bit too flip at times.

written by clappjane on 10/07/2008

There are so many cookery programmes on and crime programmes etc. I don't bother to watch This Morning any more but make sure I'm in front of the TV at 12.30! The programme makes you feel you have friends because it feels like they are almost including you in their conversations. One of my friends feels like me and so do my daughters. I think they are lucky to have the jobs on TV like that - I could talk like that but not on every subject! They seem such good friends too - I am envious. It's nice not to feel you've got to learn anything by watching Loose Women - it's just for fun!

“There's not much else on TV in the daytime that can...”

★★★★☆

written by FruitSmoothy on 19/10/2005

There's not much else on TV in the daytime that can beat Loose Women as far as I'm concerned. It's always very funny (some of the presenters are professional comedians) and very opinionated. I think any haters of this program are probably taking the program and themselves far too seriously - Relax! It's just a lunchtime talk show! Yes the presenters are very opinionated and sometimes judgemental - but this is what the program is about and why it is so popular. I myself enjoy listening to their opinions on news, gossip, and their personal stories. I don't agree with some of them but that's the point, it's a debate program. All of the presenters are different, you may like some, dislike others - but isn't that just life? But may I just add that you probably shouldn't watch this program if you live in a bubble and hate other people with strong views.

Written on: 13/02/2007

I agree, this is a good show, take it for what it is, light-hearted and a bit of fun!! , it is refreshing that the presenters are able to speak their mind on all manner of topics including current affairs, how boring would it be if every show had their presenters banging on the "PC" drum. Good stuff
