Phuket, Cape Panwa

An excellent hotel with lots to do on site. Transport into town for shopping is available. Many trips are available from the tour desk when activities are required. We would thoroughly recommend the Cape Panwa.

My partner, my mum her partner and I went to the cape Panwa in April 2002.

The hotel is very clean and the staff were very welcoming upon arrival and would do absolutely anything to help.

We were pleased with our room which had a spectacular view over the sea and other islands in the distance. the hotel itself is located on top of a hill, there is a large pool at the top and then to get to the lower pool and beach it is a 1 minute walk down some steps and a 30 second cable car ride back up. the beach is secluded and is private use for the cape Pawn guests. the beach is lovely but we were disappointed with the sea as it was not as clear as we had hoped and was very rocky underwater. on the beach is a large enclosure where bobby the otter lives, he is a rescued otter and the hotel staff look after him (he gets let out for a run every morning along the beach before the guests get up). to eat in the hotel is quite expensive but luckily there were several restaurants just outside the hotel which served amazing food and were very cheap (could get a 3 course meal with drinks for two people for about £15!!)
