The Chester Has Been Handy For Those Smaller Items

The Chester has been handy for those smaller items you often want in a hurry but the truth is it often means settling for a lesser item than you really set out to purchase. My last visit truly would have been my last anyway, the customer service was non existant, when politely asked a simple question re stock a staff member simply mumbled and waved his hand towards another part of the store. Not surprised Focus are closing if they allow this level of customer service. Go to B&Q pay a bit more and get looked after!

I Went To Focus At Cables Retail Park Prescot Agai

I went to focus at cables retail park prescot again for the second time this week and the servis i got was second to none. they have a young lad there chris and both times he took all my goods to the car and put them in for me ,and then came back as i am disabled and helped me to and into the car. FOCUS YOU HAVE A STAR THERE IN CHRIS

Its No Wonder Focus Are Getting Only 1.7 Out Of 5

Its no wonder Focus are getting only 1.7 out of 5 for reviews.I have just had my first experience of shopping in the weybridge store.I spent over £200 on decorating items,and spent a long time looking into replacing kitchen and bathroom furniture.There is no parking meter there but I have now received a parking fine of £60 for spending too long in the shop.It seems you are only allowed to park in their carpark for 11/2 hrs.SO THE ANSWER IS DONT SHOP THERE AT ALL,go to B&Q,they like their customers to shop and spend and DONT CHARGE FOR THE CARPARK.

I Ordered 3 Plinths At £29 On Dec 27.no News

I ordered 3 plinths at £29 on Dec 27.No news from Focus nor delivery. I rang and spoke to an assistant Sun 16th. She promised to check warehouse and left me waiting on phone and then I was cut off so I rang again. She said she would find out and ring me back. She failed to do so. I rang again on Monday and after 2 calls from me spoke to a manager called Richard. He promised plinths would be delivered on Friday and would ring me back but never did. By Friday afternoon no sign of plinths so I rang again and was told Focus still didn't have plinths. Eventually they were delivered but I was horrified to get my phone bill today and find that I have been charged around £5 for all these calls although I get free 0845 numbers. WHY DOES FOCUS NOT USE 0845 LIKE EVERYONE ELSE? WHY SHOULD I PAY FOR YOUR INEFFICIENCY? I am not pleased!

Garage Had 2 Parts Broken 1 Part Missing And Some

Garage had 2 parts broken 1 part missing and some of the stickers were also missing oh and no instructions shop just said you have to have receipt to get full refund didnt have so got a refund for £3.60 which was the sale price but the till price was the original at £11.99 notat all impressed will not buy anything from focus again

The Lamps We Required Were Short Of One, So Store

The lamps we required were short of one, so store phoned another store & ordered them, we colleced them. also bought a xmas tree.

On opening found a leg missing, phoned our local store who said call & thay would excange it, this I did & met by a young girl who arranged an other assistant to find me a replacement, this was done with care & consideration.

So Thank you for your care.

Spent A Lot Of Money With Buxton Focus This Year,

Spent a lot of money with Buxton Focus this year, green house plus trimmings etc. wallpapers & paint, showers, trees etc. Recently tried to purchase basic wash basin taps, display only in stock! ordered, 14 day delivery! collected them, then asked to purchase extra second set - to be told we only have the ones you ordered in stock. Tried to buy Power-saw, display only in stock! Wanted to buy 3 window blinds had to order them and pay up front. Went to Leek Store bought saw, & 2 blinds only to find one of the blinds is broken further journey again to Leek at my expense. What is happening with your Stores, no stock, shortage of staff at least for customer care, standards are slipping, do you want customers, or our you happy for them to go to your competitors! I for one am thinking that Focus is becoming a waste of time, I am livid. from Yvonne - Tel:01298871023.

i bought 2 boxes of floor tiles from harrogate focus , when they were laid we found we were 1 short , i went to focus and asked if i could buy 1 tile no i was told , no explanation just no thats it i had to buy a box of 9 , yet when i looked the pricier tiles you could buy singles . what a waste keith

I Have Been Shopping At Focus, Martlesham, Ipswich

I have been shopping at Focus, Martlesham, Ipswich since it opened. I have always found the staff VERY helpful finding things in the store for me and especially in the later years with Arthritus in knees etc. putting things in the car for me and generally helping. However I bought a bird water/feeder for the wall of my house. It wasn't long before it was rusty,

therefore I was not happy with it. I took it back today hoping to exchange the item for some seed trays. I was introduced by a lovely lady Diane, to the MANAGER. He was very rude and would not listen to me, I was unable to finish a sentence. He was telling me that I needed to paint it!! Was I then to purchase paint and a brush for it or throw it away?

I hope my comment will reach further than this e-mail as I will not be using the store anymore until I have a suitable reason or a refund, replacement or credit note. I have a senior privelidge card 1021755966 and my name is Mrs Carol Mullins
