I had simply asked for insurance for two flats to be insured. One flat on top of the other in a terraced building. The ground floor flat has one bedroom, and the upper flat has two bedrooms. A simple quote that I have a legal and social responsibility to cover as freeholder of the building. I had spoken to what was at the time Kennet insurance which is now Swinton insurance. <br/>The building sum insured cannot be advised by the agent or using the internet as each property differs due to the type of construction, building materials etc etc. You need to set the sum insured yourself.
<br/>
<br/>You may now find that you are now under insured which could result in a portion of any future claim not being paid.
<br/>
<br/>I would suggest that you contact a surveyor and pay to have a building valuation that also takes into account debris removal, architects fees etc to arrive at the correct sum insured.

Stevfik, i think the fault is completely yours. It is your duty to find out the rebuild costs. Your pathetic
