I'd just like to introduce myself as Review Centre's Travel Accessories Expert. If there is anything you want to know about this category, please feel free to ask me a question. I will do my utmost to give you the best possible answer.
So, here is a little bit about me. I am an avid traveller, you name it, I've been there, or want to go there. Travelling abroad is one of my main passions in life. I'm the most compact packer there is, I can easily fit a weeks holiday into a cabin suitcase. The trick? Always pack travel accessories that are built with travel in mind.

We bought a travel bag from carlton 4 years back.The shop we bought it from has closed and the vip team has not maintained a database of the customer records.They say that the product we bought was made in 2016 while we purchased it in 2019 and so their 5 year warranty is nil.We do not understand their logic and frankly we will not be buying any more carlton products and advising others to do the same.

My Carlton case has been round the world many times it still seals still works it’s a 25 kg suitcase it’s well battered still works I’ve had it for 15 years and all it needs at the moment his new wheels at the back for getting in and out of the airport so I’m trying to get those but there’s two Allen keys on each side inside you unscrew them and screw them back on the new ones so it’s quick and simple I’m 72 now and I’m going on a cruise taking my faithful Carlton case with me. Have a good day I think I should give this case a five star rating

Bought a Carlton suitcase in India in2018 believing their global warranty, Came to Melbourne Australia from Chennai by Srilankan Airlines. When I collected my checked in suitcase @Melbourne Airport found it broken and wheels also gone. Sent a mail about 20days back to Carlton. So far no response. No service centre in Melbourne to contact. Never had such bitter experience with any company so far.

Its so bad...this product that its unbelievable. Broke like its made of terracotta. Wonder how its still around in the market.

I purchased the large suitcase for travelling abroad as I was promised it comes with international warranty. Could t find any service centre in London, no list of contact numbers are available to call. Had to bring back to Bangalore , no response to my email yet. The quality of material is extremely poor. Will take my chance at service centre, company advertises they will replace no questions asked.. let's see how this goes.

Purchased a Carlton 78 BLk Reflex bag in India, which came recommended by a store owner and was told has a worldwide guarantee. On our first use, before even arriving at the airport, the back had torn. Reached out to VIP/Carlton, whose contact service is limited to India. After initially promising a replacement, they went radio silent. Do yourself a favour - purchase any other better brand out there than from this company and terrible quality product.

I bought CARLTON BELMONT in 2017. It's under warranty. Strolly suck!! Service Raised a feedback with service request #1342. It's over 38 days & the issue not yet resolved. After continued follow up with Carlton team n bangalore store, nothing happened. They keep postponing delivery date which is highly unprofessional for such a big brand. I had paid 7K + for this luggage just for brand sake that was a mistake! Won't recommend my friends or anyone in the family to go for this brand!!

I have bought their cabin bag from the store in Lithuania. While I used it for couple times only, during the recent flight the bag's trolley mechanism has stuck. While the company provides 7 years warranty it's not possible to contact them as the store I bought the bag from does not deal with them any more, and the producer itself is not responding to my numerous requests to repair the bag.

Broke in one trip within a week of purchase..it could not even stand one trip..and is broken.I bought a medium size suitcase on 3rd may and it was totaly waste of money.Never ever buy this product! Why the premium pricing??

The sales person jumped on it and assured me it is durable. but it could not even stand one trip to toronto and is broken. I bought a cayenne 75 w4 stf on march 17th and it was a total waste of money. they don't even have a service center here. Never ever by this product i have american tourister since 1 year and works great in terms of not only carrying weight but even durability

Paid £109 for one of their suitcases and after only 3 trips it has torn / fallen apart on the zip attachment. Have to deal with customer service in India and despite me sending photos of my damaged bag and warranty, customer service agreed and promised to send me a replacement. They ignore emails, make excuses and wash their hands of the matter. They are a useless, poor quality company staffed by waste of space ,ignorant no-marks who don't deserve a job. Hope they go out of business.

We bought a medium/large, 4-wheel Carlton suitcase at a luggage shop in Johannesburg about 6 years go. It was quite expensive and had a 7-year warranty, so we thought it would be a good investment. Not so. After less than a year the metal tags that clip into the combination lock broke, making it impossible to lock the case. We took photos and had to take it back to the shop where we bought the case and the tags were repaired. Then when travelling the handle stuck and we were unable to push it down. Again we had to take it in for repairs. The handle stuck again when we were in the UK and we had to have that fixed. However last year, again while travelling, the same happened and we had to pay for urgent repairs as we were in Bangkok. Then the metal tags broke again, so we can't lock the case. Then the handle itself simply fell apart while we were travelling and we had to put strong sticky tape round it to hold the case. It is impossible to contact anyone at Carlton, since apparently it is being taken over by another company and the repair people have no contact names or numbers. Since we have had problems with this particular case almost since we bought it, we have no confidence in Carlton products or warranties and have had to buy other, reputable brand, which have given us no problems. If there was anyone at Carlton prepared to take responsibility for the problems we would suggest they replace the case. However we are not optimistic and certainly would never recommend this brand to anyone. A Johnston

Not received the product and it's been more than a week now. Your courier agent is claiming to delivered the product. Your customer service is clueless as always. No proper reply. You people cannot take the customers for granted. We pay for the services, you are not doing any charity so pls keep that in mind. If you guys are not capable of delivering the product on time than at least can refund the money or even that's too much to ask. Won't allow anyone in my circle to go for this brand

Trying to get my Carlton Tribe Carry-On luggage bag (under WARRANTY) repaired. Request was put in 4months ago. No action on the case. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!!

I am having exactly the same problem - Carlton are asking me to post the luggage to them when it will cost half as much as the initial product cost! It is appalling dismissive customer service - completely avoidant of actually honouring the warranty....

Two suitcases, one brand new, never used, locks (combination) broken. Suitcases manufactured in India. Poor quality, waste of money luggage. Their company will be out of business Soon if they keep producing such a bad finish to their equipment. I am aircrew and have in all my years flying came across such an appalling product. Save your money and avoid this company completely!

I bought 2 carlton bags in Singapore about 1.5 years ago. Both spoilt. The outside covering (Nylon cloth) coming off loose. Probably defective pasting. Guess it is a manufacturing defect. The shop sent me to their service centre. Service says their worker is on leave and they would not even register my complaint until the worker returns and they would also not replace the bags. I think I have no choice but to buy new bags as I ahve to travel. Is this what you pay premium price for? Even the cheapest bag available would last longer. The service centre is outright rude and unprofessional. They just drive the customers away so that they do not have to deal with complaints. May be once upon a time the quality was good. Now it has gone to dogs..You can throw away the warranty card that's of no use.... NEVER EVER BUY A CARLTON BAG!!!!! There are plenty of better brands avialble. We brought 2 Carlton strada cases about 4 years ago. We only use them once a year and after our holiday last year (3 uses)on one of them the stitching came undone at the bottom near the wheels in the corner and it came apart causing the side at the bottom to drop down level with the wheels, thus scrapping on the floor. I contacted Carlton. They asked me to take a photo and send it to them. I did this and they said that their was a scuff mark. Which there is but it is tiny and was caused by the fact that this part of the case may have scrapped on the floor due to the stitching coming undone. They tried to blame the airline. To which I replied that I disagreed. They asked me to send the case to them anyway. Which I did. It came back a week later unfixed with the claim of airline carrier damage on a letter that came with it. The thing is I am currently on holiday using the other case and in exactly the same plase it is coming apart on this case. Now I have no axe to grind with Carlton but two things I would say is their warranty isn't worth the paper it's written on. As it is their decision whether its fair wear and tear or poor workmanship . And secondly I challenge a right to reply from anyone from Carlton to please tell me why your cases cost any more than a cheap case from somewhere like matalan if your customer service deals with genuine grievances so poorly. I will never buy a Carlton product again.
