Lblowdry

Terrible

I visited the cutting room for a curly blow dry, having had Many of these in the past I knew what to expect! However I was first greater with an lady who was over booked and passed on to another lady who had no idea of a curly blow dry. I got home from my appointments Knowing I had wasted my £20! I even asked for pin curls which lasted no more than a hour when I took them out! If your reading this DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY like I did!

Over Priced!!!

Having just moved to the area my daughter usually uses hairdressers in southport because she regularly has her hair braided and has never been charged more than £5 for this as it only takes 5 minutes to do, so she never thought to ask the price so was absolutely shocked when she went to pay and was asked for £15!. They will not be receiving anymore business from my daughter or myself.

Brilliant Value, Brilliant Results!

I would absolutely recommend the cutting room to anyone. A lot of the reviews about it on this sight seem quite negative and I have no idea why. The staff are really friendly and understanding. They are also incredibly skilled. Upon arriving, my hair was washed (and treated), then cut, blow-dried and finally styled. You can choose your hair to be styled in any way you wish- this can be straightening, curling e.t.c. Throughout this process, not only was the stylist friendly and kind, but she also complimented me on the condition of my hair. The price was more than reasonable. It cost me £30 and I am delighted with the results. My hair is gorgeously straightened and also a much nicer colour, not to mention the fact that it is all cut extremely well. It would have been useful to perhaps know (before I booked an appointment) that it does take quite a while. My session took just under an hour- which was much longer than I expected. I have been going to the cutting room putney regularly for about a year now and not once have I had a negative experience. Absolutely thrilled!

The First Time I Went I Was Really Pleased And Rec

The first time I went I was really pleased and recommended it to my sister. However every visit since has been worse, the last time the hairdressers commented how my hair was uneven, my last cut was with them! After I left the salon I realized that my layers were noticably different lengths on either side of my head and had to have it trimmed again elsewhere. I would'nt go back which is a shame because my first visit was brilliant but it seems if you go you have to be prepared to pay for two haircuts, the one they do and the one you get to fix it

Shocking Customer Service! I Was Having

Shocking customer service!

I was having my haircut and dyed here and the girl next to me accidentally dropped black hair dye which flicked up on to my blonde hair.

I understand that this was an accident and I did not cause a fuss at the time as they did re-dye my hair the correct colour. However, they then informed me that they were closing the shop and that they would not have time to cut my hair and actually sent me home with wet hair. They offered to reduce the chareg by to 50%. I have since called to explain that I did not think that this was acceptable customer service but they have told me that they are a busy shop and do not care about losing my custom.

This Is The Worst Hairdressers I've Ever Used. I F

This is the worst hairdressers I've ever used. I felt the need to cheer myself up, so went in and asked for a wet cut and blow dry. The man cutting my hair felt the need to tell me how terrible the condition he thought my hair was. I hoped he would recommend a conditioning treatment but no - he continued to insult me. I should have walked out, but 20 minutes into the insults, only half of my hair was cut. At this stage my eyes were whelling up with tears, I felt awful! The man did not even acknowledge the fact that he had upset me. Needless to say I didn't stick around for the blow dry and walked out with soaking wet hair.

To top it off, the man cutting my hair had a mullet. I'm sure there is a moral to this story.

Avoid this place like the plaque!!

My Experience With Cutting Room Was Terrible. I B

my experience with cutting room was terrible. i booked to have consultation with senior, re volume perm. the nice lady cut piece of my hair and said that she will check condition. came back after few minutes and said we can go ahead with gentle perm. effect was a disaster. my hair not curly at all and burned. she tried to convince my that will be better after wash, but was not. and the worse they charge my 73 pounds. i am really upset with effect . yesterday i went to KO KO hair (brilliant by the way ) and cut about 3cm. hairdresser there told my that my hair are just burned and now i need to cut them every 3 weeks.i should not have perm at first instance. i am really upset and i lost so much money.

As It Was My First Time At The Salon, I Was Quite

As it was my first time at the salon, I was quite specific about what I wanted - specifying 2 inches off, feathering round the face etc. The stylist totally ignored all this and gave me the worst haircut I've ever had. I even stopped her half way through and asked what she was doing - she dismissed this with 'different hairdressers do things differently', before flopping hair all over my face so I couldn't see. I was literally in tears when I left. I do not recommend going there, ever!

The First Time I Went To This Salon, The Stylist D

The first time I went to this salon, the stylist did quite a good job, so as my work's posh Christmas party was approaching, I made another appointment for that day. I brought a picture along, I've had the style a few times before, so I knew that despite being an 'up do', it was relatively easy to do. I arrived early, as they don't seem to make enough time. First, my hair was washed by what I assume was a student. He was very rough and over zealous, yanking my head up and down, then laughing embarrassingly as he walked me back to my seat. The Cutting Room stylist came over, and we discussed the style in the picture, I explained about the posh party that night, telling her I needed my hair to look glamorous. She blew dry my hair, put a few rollers in, immediately took them out, shook my hair then applied hair spray. That was it. Nothing at all like the picture, and not glamorous. It looked like I'd just got out of bed. The front was straight and just hanging limp. I ended up going straight to the Hair Cuttery, where the girl there did a wonderful job with my hair, and I was complemented on how good it looked for ages after.
