A constant change of staff in Manchester shows how poorly staff are paid, and yet half a head of highlights will cost nearly £200!

After seeing how the staff are so sulky and the Manager was off the compass rude at being asked for a resolution to a bad cut and colour. Oh and the cut and colour cost nearly £400. Nothing more to say - this would never give anyone confidence to return and spend money like that again.

From entering the Sassoon salon in the Met Quarter Liverpool it is a very personal service. A lady greets you with a big smile, the whole experience makes you feel relaxed and welcome. This is only the second time this stylist has cut my hair and again she listened intently taking ideas to create the perfect style. She also gave me tips on managing the style at home and if you haven't tried any of the Sassoon products, they're a must.

Really excited to go paid nearly £100 for cut and treatment but place was really tired all the pictures were wonky paint chipped really shabby for top end. Shampoo was not good in fact worst I have had and girl who cut my hair keeped asking the same thing because she was really not bothered to listen or get to know what I wanted and cut it to short. Sorry Sassoons but really dissatisfied today .The desk they were really nice but no not going again.

WENT TO VIDAL SASSOON LIVERPOOL YESTERDAY NOTHING SPECIAL COST ME £70 I USUALLY PAY £28 FOR SAME STYLE.WHILE CUTTING MY HAIR STYLIST WENT OVER TO ANOTHER CLIENT FOR A CONSULTATION. WOULD NOT RECCOMEND GOING THERE VERY DISAPOINTED.

vidal sassoon covent garden, dont ever go there, worst haircut of my life. Staff were uninterested, bored even. Whatever has happened to Vidal Sassoon's salons. I am sure Vidal Sassoon would turn in his grave. Just appalling..

Took my four year old son for a quick trim over the weekend. We were staying in liverpool for a night- ended up with a £38 bill!!! How could someone justify charging that much for a childs cut? (Level 1 hairdresser) And to make matters worse it was no where as good as his previous cut at Tommy's Llandudno (which i payed under £10 for!!) Daylight robbery!

Worse and very odd haircut from this creature. I hate to leave a bad review and never have before but it's scary that someone this incompotent could be allowed to cut hair, let alone at a "posh" salon. If in Glasgow I warn you all!

This was my 2nd time in the Sassoon salon based in the met quarter Liverpool, and I must say I loved the whole experience from the greeting to the time taken on my consultation the shampoo and massage I had a treatment that made my hair so shinny my stylist made me feel pampered yet overall I felt relaxed and left with my 2 products feeling proud of my individual Sassoon cut! Thank you I will be back and reccomend my friends too! If one thing I would change would be if I could visit more often it's just I live in Wales.

Went for blow dry only £35.00 , thought ok " I ll treat myself " . I wanted big hair and told the stylist so. What did I get ? A guy who obviously knows nothing about blowing hair to give it volume and bounce. From the moment he started drying my hair I knew it was a mistake . Used wrong brush to start with , should be a big roll brush not a small flat brush , then dried my long hair from above not from the underneath . Flattened all my hair and then back combed the back of my head to make my head shape look like an alien ... Rubbish , disappointing and a rip off . Came home washed my hair and blow dried it my self to get the right effect. Really unhappy with Vidal Sasoon hairdresser ! Didn't get what I paid for . Should not have been recommended to book that stylist .

I went yesterday to the salon on Southern Molton Street ( Mayfair) and asked for a senior hairdresser. The chair they offered me was surrounded by hair from former customers. Although three different girls asked me, if I want something to drink, nothing was actually offered to me. I paid 91 pounds for 40 minutes service. The blow-dry was not worst one pound. I looked better when I entered the salon than when I left. So I rushed home really disappointed.

I was a regular client of VS over ten years ago. I loved going there, the stylists were great and they really strived to make you happy. I recently made an appointment two months in advance to get my hair cut and relaxed after growing it out for several years. I requested a senior hair cutter because in my experience they did the best job. The relaxing was fine; however the hair cutter rushed through the process. I showed her a picture of what I wanted twice, she said she understood. I have never seen anyone cut hair so quickly, she just didn't seem to care. Well, she cut the sides and back too short and I had to have my daughter even out the sides and my son cleaned up my neck with clippers. I recall when I used to get my hair cut years ago, the stylist would hold up the sides to measure them to make sure the sides were even even. They would also check with me to make sure the length was what I wanted. This stylist seemed only concerned with going on to the next client. I used to always tell people what a wonderful experience I had at VS. I will never recommend VS again! I paid close to $200 for a terrible experience; never again.

I've tried so many different hairdressers and never got such an amazing suitable hairstyle ! My friend recommended to get an appointment at VIDAL's in Manchester with this lovely Greek guy called Demitri! He completely restyled my hair to a really nice sharp graduated Bob!My hair looks like a piece of Art after this haircut and don t have to do much with it in the morning! The appointment was booked for 45 mins however Demitri took his time!definitely going back!!

Don't go to Liverpool Sassoon, worst cut ever. Devastated as need to start again. Very expensive for awful cut. So upset. Andrew Collinge is better, I should have stayed there. DON'T GO THERE !!
