Dio, Diamonds - The Best Of Dio - 1992 saw the release of this Dio compilation proudly sporting some of Ronnie's greatest work. It was released on CD, cassette and 12" vinyl - containing loads of Dio's greatest numbers, creating a good introduction for anyone who has never heard Ronnie's music before. It also includes the track 'Hide In The Rainbow' which was previously unavailiable except on the Iron Eagle Soundtrack. The packaging has a mistake that says track eight is 'Sacred Children' but it is really the track 'Sacred Heart'.

It's not the best compilation Dio album that could have been created but it certainly isn't a bad one. You've got every big hit from Dio's first few solo albums (1983-1991) and loads of underated tracks such as 'Don't Talk To Strangers', 'We Rock' and 'Dream Evil'. Worth picking up if it's on the cheap!
