I am very happy with this TV. It was bought as a replacement on a warranty, and it has never given any trouble.
I have had no issues with the Philips 32PW9616c widescreen TV!

Purchased model Philips 32PQ9616C widescreen TV for £1240 (bargain price online), very soon after purchase of tv it started blacking out and the red standby button would flash. This fault is not in the manual. We have had it away for repair 3 times and the third time it has came back from the repairer with a new fault so it will be away for the fourth time. Each time is come back with a new scratch. This tv has caused us nothing but problems since we bought it last September.

My Philips 32PW6005 has exactly the same problem. ie switches itself off and red light flashes.

Other problems with this TV include the complete loss of onscreen menus and no sound from the speakers (headphone output works ok).

The problems started as soon as the warranty expired. I rate this TV 1 out of 10.

I have the same fault on a 32PW6006 model and know of two other Philips TVs, one is a 32PW6005 aand the other is identical to look at but not sure of the exact model number.

They are all turning off. Fault looks to be a Philips standard!

Wish I'd read this before buying mine. This exact same issue with mine, but mine is just over a year old, so I need to pay for it.
