The floor to our room was filthy, the bathroom floor had at least a dozen strands of long hair, swept behind the door.
The stair area was not cleaned all week.
Walls are very thin so we could hear everything that the guy next door was saying or doing. (not very pleasant in the bathroom)
Building site next to the Hotel Rosamar.

Myself, husband and sons and sons girlfriend stayed at the Rosamar hotel in Benidorm had everything you needed and close to shops pubs clubs, what more do you want. I would stay there again and recommend it to all my friends.

The food was really very good and staff was very good indeed very helpful and always polite. I would go back to the hotel Rosamar no problem very central for everything. It was the cleaning staff that let the hotel down we found that our room was not properly cleaned. The swimming pool is great.

What a disappointment since my last visit in 2004. This hotel has gone downhill FAST. Poor food, poor cleaning, poor staff service. In my opinion there are much better hotels in Benidorm than this.

The locality of this hotel is great, however the Sol Pelicanos Sol only a few yards away is far superior and has the advantage of an enormous lagoon style pool. Staff were helpful and polite, this is a no frills holiday and due to it having a spa (that you have to pay for) this I would personally rate as no more than 2 star hotel. We did experience some problems with the lifts and as we were on the 10th floor this caused some difficulty, but as we were on holiday we chilled out and were patient. Eventually, like Rome, all roads led to the right place eventually.

I last stayed here some five years ago and this hotel has went downhill since. The words customer service means nothing to the staff in this hotel they are the most surly lot you could meet with the dining room staff holding the record. The rooms could do with a good clean and were grubby, and nodding you head backwards and forwards would keep you cooler than the air con in the rooms. To get to the rooms you have to find a lift that works (good luck) as half of them are out of order each day. They also take you to the pride and joy the dining room.First you have to find a cleared table (not easy), Then a clean plate and knife and fork (rare) should you fancy a drink with your meal you have to wait in the drinks trolley coming round ( which will not be too long if you are Spanish) however British guests will wait and wait.......................You can then sample the delights of the Buffet providing you like fish (7 nights) Tripe Madrid style?, and Lamb Stew (2 nights) Still hungry try the Show Cooking Grill as long as you like you meat or chops cooked rare or on one side you should be all right. To use the gym costs British guests 7 euro but surprise surprise free to Spanish guests. Should you wish to keep you room on you last day in this delightfull hotel this will cost 40 euro. Why not try somewhere other than this hotel as there are very few worst.

Fantastic place to stop.

Ideal location, cleanliness and pool are best features but badly let down by food and entertainment (or lack of it). This meant we slept, sunbathed and occasionally ate at hotel. You will need to eat lunch out, as there are no snacks available and go into town every night as the "entertainment" is pathetic.
Benidorm is fantastic - eat at Paul's (off Avenue Mediterraneo) and see The Beatles at The Town - just a few of many, many great places.

The hotel Rosamar is a good hotel close to all Benidorm has to offer. The rooms are clean and tidy with air con and TV. The meals are good quality with a carvery most nights along with the usual buffet. The staff are friendly and helpful and all English speaking. the hotel is quiet at night but a short walk from the Square and the Calle Gerona where the nightlife is based. Benidorm has something for everyone from kids (Pancho the Clown) OAPs (Andys Bar), teens (Chaplins), singles (Cafe Benidorm), to Benidorms own Sticky Vicky (don't ask).
