Anaxos, Parthenon Apartments

We stayed at Parthenon Apartments in May and found it to be an excellent holiday and are returning June 2005. We will be staying at The Harris Studios this time though as I'm not sure how to book Parthenon now Golden sun has gone belly up! The studios are basic but if you have any problems just speak to Kostas the owner and he will sort anything out. He's an excellent host and his bar serves excellent food too. This resort is by far the cheapest we've stayed in since the Euro was introduced. You can get a good meal for about 3 quid and the beer and of course the OUZO is very cheap. Cheapest place for a large Amstel is Steve's Coffee Bar at just 1 euro 50 (about a quid) and its 2 euro almost everywhere. Best places to eat are Kostas Taverna and Vasillas Grill and the best places just for a drink are The Omerta Bar, Steves and the Kafinion (local's boozer) just for the characters!!
