“Utter laziness!”

Well,I went to this shop in Llandudno's Asda,was still half an hour to go for them to close,and they declined to laminate my certificate,stating they couldn't do it because they were closing,when like i mentioned,was half an hour to go for them to close... Mind you,the laminating process only takes 10 minutes and the lady in charge,was doing absolutely nothing at all. It was not like she was busy or the likes! Utter laziness and incompetence! Avoid!!!

“Terrible quality and customers service ”

After receiving my very poor quality photos I politely emailed to explain. Nobody bothered to reply so 4 days later I called to be basically be told tough! When I asked for the complaints procedure I was told that by calling to be told “tough” was it’ they weren’t willing to try and resolve the issue simply told me to return them (at my hassle and inconvenience) if I wasn’t happy with them. Wow!

“Fast Service, Great Photos”

I only read the reviews here after using the service, which is just as well as I would have been put off. But maybe things have changed now, because a lot of the reviews are old and my experience was excellent. Ordered over 1000 prints from old family photos that we had scanned to digital a while back. They were ordered on Wednesday and arrived Saturday morning, earlier than expected. Really happy with that. The other thing they offer is a reduced price for bulk printing, 500 plus. So if like me you have a load to do at once, it's much cheaper.

“Delivered broken on 2 ocasions and no postage refunded...”

Hi, I had awful experience with Asad photo. I have ordered 2 mags as anniversary present for a couple. Had delivery within 7Wd and 1 mag was broken. I send email no one came back, other - no reply at all. Called - they send we will send replacement. Ok. ", 3 weeks pass by, anniversary day pass by, I gifted one mag and promised other shortly, but after 4 weeks still none received. Called again twice and they refunded cost of 1 mag, no postage.....as I promise 2nd mag I spend again on mag and £4 on postage and had delivery of 2nd mag finally, but....again broken......Awful...I wish I never ordered 1st mag at all....now I have sent 2 emails...no reply...I can see again that I just wasted postage of £8 to date in total, twice delivered broken and still to date haven't had full 2 mag (His& Her) anniversary present, a couple that meant to have 2 mugs has only 1 ….awful situation I am in and asda team just don't care.....postage is extremely expensive for service they have......Now, I just want my money back and do not recommend to use them . It be more reliable to buy from elsewhere

“DO NOT USE ASDA PHOTO SERVICE”

I am very angry at Asda online service particularly with the photo and customer service department. I placed a photo order online on 6/10/20 which I received one out of two items. I received an automated email on 8/10/20 stating my second order had been dispatched. I called on 16th, 17th, 20th, 21st October 2020 to chase my order and I sent an email on 13th and 16th October 2020. I did not receive any email replies. I spoke to a representative on 21/10/20 and he stated my order has gone missing and he would issue a refund which would take 3-5 workings days. I called today and spoke to a different person who stated the refund transaction didn't go through on 21/10/20 and it will be processed today. On top of everything, the person who I spoke to today hung up on me after 15mintues being on the phone......SO MUCH FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! Here is where my frustration is coming from...... 1. I didn't receive my order that I paid for 2. I chased my ordered up numerous times via email and phone 3. Was then told my order went missing and refund would be authorised 4. Now told my refund hasn't been authorised for a product I still haven't received! 5. And.....deliberately being hung up by your customer service on the phone! This is appalling "customer service." As a manager myself I understand things can take time especially under the current circumstances however this is no excuse to cut off a phone call from a customer, a refund not going the transaction AND incorrect information given to the customer. This a very poor poor service from Asda and I'll be happy to say I shall not be placing any further online purchases.

“Go elsewhere ”

half the photos had the heads of the people cut off and got told its my fault yet in the other size photos they are fine. The attitude of the staff member on the phone was terrible, customer care my rear end. I will never print another photo with them again.

“Don't Use Shocking!!!!”

Under no circumstances use this website for photo printing, especially if you have large amounts of photos to print. If you leave the website you will not be able to get back into the photos to edit them. The first time I set up an account, took 2.5 hours to upload 600 photos, the website crashed and lost everything I had done. i called them and they could not recover. I then tried to log in again and it wouldn't, I called the helpline again and they have to unlock my account, I then uploaded the same 600 photos and started editing. I had to leave the website and finish editing later. but when I went in the photo's had gone in the basket and when you click to edit there are no photos. I have called the helpline several times and they basically advised they I needed to wait on the screen for all the photos to re upload which could take hours and hours!!!! What a complete waste of my time. Don't waste yours and avoid this website like the plague!!!!!!

“Never again - Dire!”

Some of prints were appalling. Online staff blamed us, even though they were submitted correctly. We re-sent them again and they said we would have to start again as a new order. 23 emails later I gave up as staff member was very inexperienced and was clueless about customer care. AVOID!!!

“Photo service transfers”

Today I went to Asda to have my photos taken off my phone onto a memory stick.It wasn’t easy because my phone had stopped working no WiFi and thousands of photos it was completely full.With the young mans expertise taking two and a half hours he worked his way through them.Not only that he managed to transfer over one hundred photos for a man .serve several customers collecting prints of photos and took passport photos for someone else Absolutely Amazing.Thank you so much for your help and patience. Happy customer

“Family photos dumped by front door ”

Uploading my photos to Asda photo printing website was easy and delivery speedy. The quality of the photos was not great and some had not uploaded correctly, then upon delivery their courier (Hermes) dumped my family pictures by my front door, completely unsafe. I will not use their services anymore and would not recommend it.

“Avoid at all costs”

Don't be taken in by the Asda brand and the low prices. The Asda name is just a front for outsourcing the whole process. I ordered photos for Christmas on a seven-day turnaround service and it took over three weeks for them to be delivered...and that was only after following up several times and eventually speaking to a manager. I emailed several times to chase the order and never once received a reply and their phone line is only open 9am-4.30pm, Mon-Fri so not exactly convenient. I was told multiple stories about the status of my order and each person I spoke to contradicted the previous person. I had to really push to speak to a manager on the phone who, to be fair, was very apologetic and helpful and eventually sorted my order for me. The quality of the photos was good, but the process and customer service to get them was abysmal. Avoid!!

“Awful quality”

I've ordered 60+ photo prints and was shocked to get them back. Very poor quality , they're all dark , gloomy and some couldn't even reflect what was on the picture cos of the dark quality. Will never use it again!

“Extremely poor quality”

I would not recommend ordering photo prints from Asda using the online service. I recently ordered a few hundred 6" x 4" holiday photos and was extremely disappointed when they arrived in the post, as they were all fuzzy and grainy and too bad to use. I had not choice but to bin them and re-order from another company.

“Appalling service”

I ordered two photobooks online to be delivered to my local store. The order went through immediately and the money was debited from my account. I heard nothing more from them even though their message following the order was that they would keep me informed of the progress and that the books would be ready within seven days. After ten days I emailed them having been unable to get hold of anyone on the phone and the response to my email was that the photo department at the store I had ordered them to had closed down. They were unable to explain why they had offered this as a service if it didn't actually exist and couldn't tell me why they had taken my money when they didn't seem to be actually providing a service. I still hope that I will get these photobooks from Asda but it certainly hasn't been a pleasant experience. Don't use this service.

“Asda Pilsworth Bury”

Ordered one hour photo collection on line on Friday morning; the website stated it was ok, all prints would be ready in an hour. My money was taken and an email confirmation was sent. Drove to Asda Pilsworth, Bury in the afternoon to pick up the photos only to find the lights out in the photo shop and there was a cardboard sign on the counter saying there would be no staff in on the Friday and Saturday. I spoke with a staff member there who said it had nothing to do with Asda, it is a seperate business (which is nonsense; I ordered the photos on Asda's website, Asda took my money etc). On the following Sunday I went to collect the photos and the order was completely wrong anyway; 4 x copies of one photo, 6 of another (where I only ordered one copy) and none at all of the 7 x 5 photo I ordered. I can't be bothered complaining, Asda would just palm me off with some rubbish or another. Instead am posting this review to urge potential customers to find another way to order prints.

“Shocking communication ”

Ordered a small number of prints in supposed 7 day service, received no confirmation email or any acknowledgement, I only knew the order had gone through as the money was taken from my account. Arrived at collection point a week later but no photos, was told ad I ordered late in the afternoon they wouldn't be in until next day. Went again the next day, still no photos, no explanation offered. Informed by customer service that they'd probably be delivered by 5 o'clock that day so I'd have to go back again. That will be 9 days. No apologies offered, will never use them again.

“No updates on order and terrible packaging ”

Placed order for a photo jigsaw on Thursday put a note I needed for Tuesday as it was a gift. After the first inital email I received no more emails from asda photo! I called up on Tuesday morning and they advised the order hasnt been dispatched. I was disappointed as I had no email. But then I came home to find it had been delivered! I was very happy about this however the jjigsaw came in just a small material bag all 96 pieces of it! I had to make this up (96 pieces in 30mins) and use a photo frame to put it in so I could wrap up the jigsaw. Did not think it would come in a bag at all. Asda Photo you need to sort out the lack of email communications and also your packaging! The jigsaw itself was great quality and finish and I was grateful it was delivered early but overall Wont be ordering again!

'Talk about things you like.' None of it. I liked NOTHING about this service. I used the online website as I have an ASDA store near to me, do not drive and wanted a lot of photos printing. 1. The website is appallingly made, but knowing it was an ASDA brand, one I have trusted for a long time, I stuck with it. 2. The photos took AN ENTIRE NIGHT to upload because the webpage appeared to keep crashing. 3. Once everything was finally uploaded, I placed the order. They took the money straight away and sent a confirmation email. 4. A week passed (having clicked collect in store) and we popped in to ASDA anyway, so I decided to check. Not entirely to my surprise, the order wasn't there. It hadn't even been logged as a processing job. It did not exist. Bare in mind they have around 30 quid of my money at this point and I have nothing to show for it. 5. The lovely person behind the counter phoned up their online service team to find out why after I gave them the reference number and I went and did my shopping 6. Upon my return, I was told the order showed no images to be printed and there is a possibility that one of the files corrupting stopped the order in its entirety. She gave me the number to phone and ask for a refund. 7. Phoned up and asked for a refund. The clerk on the phone knew who I was and said I didn't need to call as the refund had already been authorised. When I asked why on earth I hadn't been contacted, they told me they would have phoned me within the next couple of days to let me know and process a refund due to heavy traffic and not working weekends. Except my order was placed the previous Monday. I will NEVER be using this service again and am going to Costco as soon as the next chance arises. Absolutely appalled by the disgusting service I have experienced, to take money and then not immediately make contact as soon as the order was flagged is worrying and makes me wonder if I would have ever had my money back had I not chased it. Scary.

“REALLY BLOODY RAGGING!!”

REALLY BLOODY ANGRY!! PHOTOGRAPHY STUDENT WHO KNOW HOW TO HANDLE A PRINT BETTER THAN A SO CALLED COMPANY BUISNESS!! The whole thing is BALLS, They dont even have a proper A3 Size , lady told me the wrong size of what she thought an A3 was. Prints came back with scrapes and dents Slightly hazzy look even though was shot with high quality. They should NOT hire people who do not know what they are doing. I recommend Proffesional printers / photographers to do that kind of job. Asda should not continue having this " photo" area in their shops. I dont even understand why they would continue as they are so bad.
