Singapore Excellence
I used Singapore Airlines to fly return from Manchester to Houston in November 2016 (economy class). The experience was excellent (also helped by Manchester's airport being much better than anything London can offer). The aircraft was clean and comfortable. The seat had more facilities than I've seen on any other airline, including footrest, good useable seat back pockets, a little place next to the seat-back television to store things like pens or spectacles. The inflight entertainment was excellent. The food was good quality if you like Asian food. The cabin crew work extremely hard and are constantly bringing drinks around. But perhaps the best thing about Singapore is their generous baggage allowance. This puts Western airlines to shame, with two 23kg bags allowed per passenger! Highly recommended.
I am glad they crew are very good. I am going back home to the Philippines and first-time book this Singapore Airlines. Normally I book for Philippine Airlines, but since I'm going to start from Houston to Cebu. I would try this Singapore Airlines.
Man To Adelaide, Smooth First Class Experience
Booked economy class- clean, comfy seats, enough leg room, polite attendants and was given a very nice singapore noodles meal. Lovely attendants who like to fuss and make extra effort to passengers. Flight was long- but the in flight entertainment, comfy seats and kind attendants made the trip worthwhile! Will def book again. First class experience- and nice food!
We have also flown with Etihad- they were good but attendants less focused on passenger comfort.
Can I Give Them More Than Five Stars? Sheer Bliss
Smoothest flight ever, fantastic seats and great information/entertainment centre. Hostesses were very attentive and not at all pushy! Food was more than adequate Assisted with boarding, nothing too much hassle, never felt rushed and had lots of room to stow luggage. Flight attendants were most courteous and helpful. Flight was exceptional value for money, cheaper in fact that other budget airlines!
Would recommend to anyone for a really first class flight.
Never Again,
We were totally underwhelmed by the 'flat beds' on this airline. The bed had to be made up, no pressing a button and the seat going flat. The back
of the seat has to be pulled down and the remaining 'mattress' is one and a half inches thin!!!!! Most uncomfortable. Food was mediocre and although the staff in business class were decorative, the service was poor.
My Favourite Airline
If I fly to Asia and have the choice of flying Singapore Airlines, I always book with them.
I only ever flown economy class with them but they can compete with some 'premium economy' product. Their planes have plenty of room in Economy class, the staff are always helpful and friendly, food must be one of the best I have ever had on a plane (I am vegetarian and they even served me butternut squash gnocchi once, which were amazing). The crew always walk through the cabin offering soft drinks.
Their TV system is also very good with large selection of movies/TV programs and music.

Rude
Very rude flight attendants. I was suffering from food poisoning and didnt eat anything but I asked for water 3 times and I was gived one cup with very rude face. I even explained I am suffering from dehydration but when I asked for water again I got the rudest looks form the flight attendant.
This is the second time I made a mistake of flying with Singapore Airlines.
You'll find that SIA embrace praise but are averse to negativity. They themselves believe that they are so wonderful but don't hold a candle to Emirates.
They have, perhaps got "too big for their boots".
Need To Work On Customer Service
Being such a reputed carrier offering superlative in-flight services, entertainment and meals, it is important to be focussed on customer service. Work a bit on your customer service and you shall rock guys!

Yes..I agreed to all these bad reviews on Singapore Airlines (SQ) especially on their ground service. For their inflight Service I assure you all that only 40% of the staffs are nice, the others are sucks and rude..I do have bad experiences with SQ and its on their ground services and tried to report them to the customer sevice. They handled me so bad...im so disappointed..so becareful guys...and remember!!!!! Always make video records if you can and share them on you tube...so they can wake up and work harder.....thanks guys
Poor Scheduling, Cancelled Flights
Travelling with Singapore airlines from December 2013 to January 2014 I have been shocked at the way they have been running their flights. All 4 have my flights have had scheduling changes. The first one from London to Singapore, months in advance and rescheduled so that I wouldnt be able to get my connecting flight. I ended up having to start my journey 3 days earlier that I originally planned. I am now sitting at an airport waiting for another flight that was cancelled at the time it was due to fly, because of maintenance issues. My new flight is delayed once again, so who knows what will happen to my re-scheduled flight.
I am amazed at the number of problems that I have experienced with their maintenance and scheduling. Is this airline on the way down?
Worst Ground Customer Service In Sydney By Singapore Airline

I encountered the worst ground customer services by Singapore Airline on this flight from Sydney to Singapore (SQ222)
I was assigned a seat at check-in and on boarding, my seat was taken away and I was told that my seat had to be given to a family. As it is a full flight, I had to accept the newly re-assigned. I was told in a rude way that I either accept the newly assigned seat or leave the air-craft. This is a trip that I was looking forward to be home for Xmas. I have never encountered such as arm-twisting way to either accept the re-assigned seat or to leave the aircraft.
My entire flight was ruined and I never had been so embarrassed in my traveling time.
I will not travel with Singapore Airline again if it is on flying out of Sydney to Singapore.

SQ staff themselves (ground and air) have been made to believe that they can walk on water......
I abandoned SQ many years ago when I saw this trend and am now a Gold card with Emirates and Qatar. Within Asia I use JAL, Korean Air and Cathay and avoid SQ completely.

Yes I agreed to all of these bad reviews on Singapore Airlines...so keep on telling and spread them all...and remember to make video records as a proof and share them on youtube...so they can realize and be humble...and I also wondering that they can be no 1 airline most of the time....? Are the reports all fraud or are they all blind and deaf? Come on guys make them suffer...thank you all for the supports
