Dada, Puzzle - Dada are one of those bands that you kind of heard a little about during the 90's and then they seemed to disappear. Well, they haven't...but this early album is one of their best. It was released back in 1992 through IRS Records, and with the release they managed to sort themselves out with supporting Crowded House on tour. There was a great response for the band and they managed some reasonable sales with their singles 'Dog' and 'Dim', but since have just disappeared.

Their music is a sort of easy listening / soft rock vibe that isn't too dissimilar from the likes of the Counting Crows and indeed Crowded House. The band is constructed from three members (Joie Calio, Michael Gurley and Phil Leavitt), who all take part in the vocals. If you are interested in the band I would recommend first listening to this album. Unfortunately, I find the first track 'Dorina' drags a little and really does not open the album up as much as some of the others could have. 'Timothy' is a superb little number, which I find sounds best acoustic as can be found as a B-Side on the 'Dog' single.

Again, this album is a nice little album that you will find will suit certain moods. It's definitely one you will find yourself returning to time and time again.
