Apes, Pigs & Spacemen, Snapshot - After the release of AP&S's debut full length album "Transfusion", came this second installment into the Britrock scene. Their music is a complex concoction of intelligent lyrics over a emotional and inspired proficient rock outfit. Paul Miro's vocals on this album are superb, with some top-notch tracks that, given the promotion, could have done really well as singles.
The track listing is as follows:
1. Unknown Territories
2. Beanman (Camera Part One)
3. Monster
4. Blood Simple
5. Ice Cream (Camera Part Two)
6. Virtual
7. Hollow
8. The Chair
9. Mother Courage (Camera Reprise)
10. Nine Lives (Shacked Hell-Hole Cast-Offs)
11. Humiliation
12. Trouble
13. Suits (Camera Part Three)
"Beanman" was a rather ironic slap in the face for record company execs, while "Monster" was a catchy rock anthem that clung in your skull for hours after. On first listen you'll find this album enjoyable and well-written, but after returning to the album again you'll see the true nature of the beast. This is a grower that you'll truly come to love!
